My guess is, he might be slightly brainwashed. People act weird around him, especially when they were handling deliveries. People are very insistent in certain rules, like always keeping your door open or having everyone work, despite being injured because its not fair for everyone. At first I thought, maybe it was because Guwon can be a bit scary when it comes to breaking rules but he literally suggested to break the rule cause mc was injured. The guy looked really afraid of Guwon but he kept insisting on following the rule. Why would he stand up to him despite being afraid of him? People also actually avoid Guwon too, like when they were eating. They dont mingle with him unless he approaches him first. Except for the kids and mc who is new, everyone is actually afraid of him.
Guwon is also weirdly obsessed with protecting their community. Theres also the fact that he never slept before until he met mc apparently, and he has no memories whatsoever. He probably vommited because he wasnt supposed to do that according to his brainwashing. Probably also why he got a nosebleed. Like his mind is rejecting the idea so hard his body is reacting to it. But because mc is the only one who isnt walking on egshells around him and because hes the only one he actually felt close to, he kept doing it because mc wants. And well, you cant really reject sex cause that shit feels hella, good, especially since he might not have been masturbating for years as well.
