I hate how she’s forgiving the maid, the original child suffered from so much abuse in that mansion to the point where all the body could say was the word sorry …. all the maids should’ve been punished and replaced. Funny how she cant trust the aunt but yes she’ll now trust the maid that abused the og girl because she found her ring sorry but I just don’t agree with it
It's jist a trope in reincarnation/sexond life stories black mail the bad maid into submission and later they become trusted and will do everything for MC and really care. It was done well couple times so now everyone is doing it without even trying to make sense of it just to cjeck things people lile in other stories
Y'all need to re-read it. She doesn't trust the maid on a level that she'll consider her an ally, but rather, the maid is someone honest and sincere enough that she can be used. The maid was never fake making her easier to read and understand, unlike the aunt. Besides, it doesn't matter if she changes the staff or whatnot. Logically speaking, she'll just make more enemies if she fires them now. At the very least, the same staff won't bully her anymore. Well, as of now. So what if there are new staff in the future? With her standing, no one will respect her regardless.
that’s fair but at the end of the day the way these novels are written this maid will for sure be a favoured ally and end up with a happy ending with the fl, absolutely forgetting her awful past hurting that child, it’s such injustice to her. Punishing the older maids would let new maids know the consequences of breaking the rules and trying to hurt her. And what makes fl think this maid who clearly harboured extremely poor feelings towards her won’t instantly just be brought out with money from someone else like her uncle in the near future to keep tabs on her.
Honestly, yeah. Unless, the maid will have her own proper redemption arc, the development is weird. As for the staff, again it doesn't matter as of now as she doesn't have any power. Also, why would the uncle bother bribing a maid when he straight up abuses her? There's not point in wasting your time in bribing a maid because of a kid. If he'll bribe her in the future, it'll be ineffective at that point as she'll have power and experience by then.
she trusts the maid in the sense that the maid won’t betray her, the maid has already experience what would happen if she did which would be punishment followed by ridicule by her coworkers. the maid has no reason to betray the princess anymore especially since there isn’t that social pressure and mutual bullying like before since all the other workers were fired. whereas mc doesn’t trust the aunt because even though the aunt has shown her a bit of love before she knows that there is someone (ninabel) the aunt loves and prioritizes more than yana. in a situation where the aunt would have to save ninabel or yana she would save yana, but for the maid she has nobody else
Was I not paying attention where did this girl come from ???
Understandable. I think she's first mentioned in ch 9 or 10. Then the first time we see her in the manga is when the main characters come back from the double date trip by a river where Rin sprained her ankle. I think it was deliberate. Much as Yuki didn't notice Oushi's feelings, her presence was very much overlooked both figuratively and literally. They made her appear in the anime early tho.
They suit each other more than jihwan , both mentally ill, blackmailing, and forcing themselves on others like they really match each others freak
