It makes me sad that everything be has just forgotten how racist the author was, and that everyone has just decided to forgiven and forget. everyone keeps telling us to just move on, but why are we normalizing racism? Why are you telling the victims to move on? That’s the same as telling the victims of sexual assault to get over it, I’ve always started to notice that people tend to never take the side of the victim and always favor the antagonist. no obviously I’m not gonna say that Black people and other people that color can’t be racist to each other, but I feel like the chapter was really unnecessary and it was just no point for it.
Now personally, I don’t care if I get down voted or people agree with me, I just thought why not was my opinion and just not look back on this. I liked this manga, but obviously I dropped it because it got super boring, and everyone who just decided to forget it and get over it, you know just think about this manga it’s based on bullying and taking out the trash, yes, bullies deserve to be taken out of schools, but they do not deserve racism like that does not stop a bully from being a bully but like look at you guys, you guys have literally bullied the victims of the chapter, how can you pity with the victims, but not pity the victims that were hurt by that racist chapter? You guys are a bunch of hypocrites.
You're right it shouldn't happen. Just like you shouldn't hit back when someone hits you right ? But that just not how it is. When someone hurt you you want to hurt them back the same way. And idk if y'all noticed but that boy was bullying the other race for a longgg time. And they didn't say sumn racist outta nowhere, he started the racist part.
You're right they shouldn't right? Just like when someone hits you you shouldn't hit back right? But that's just how it's. When someone hurts you you will want to hurt them the SAME way. We're human that's how most of us react. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Not to mention they got bullied for a longgg period of time ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
that’s true, but I feel like that’s not really how you should deal with racism at all, and wasn’t the teacher supposed to be dealing with the students that were being bullies? So why are the students becoming the bullies as well pretending like they weren't bystanders. honestly it’s just a weird reverse racism because that’s usually not what happens in Asian areas, like it's just a very weird experience that isn't even possible and trying to accept reverse racism, like we get it everybody hates Black people. Damn we get it. We get it.
Although I don’t know the whole story but what I do know is the racism that was displayed, like two wrongs just don’t make a right. I know that we should be forgiving, but I just feel like we ask people of colors should not justify racism on either sides.. the people of color are supposed to be sticking together.
You’re so upset but like this is the Internet and freedom of speech does exist and I don’t actually have to listen to you guys and shut the fuck up about it. We’re allowed to express our feelings even if it means you're so upset about it, welcome to the internet, I respect all of your opinions and racism is a big deal and fighting racism with racism is not a mature way to handle it or encourage it because webtoon is full of minors and they do have an audience young or old.
BROO- ive lived in the US for 2 years now and trust me, there are a lot of black people who are bullies. Ive read that chapter and that was totally nothing out of the ordinary of this manhwa LOL. Everyone can be racists and shitty whether they are
Black, white, brown. Its a matter of their behavior attitude. So stop spouting some nonsense if u know nothing
I think y'all are also forgetting how to ignore this webtoon in a whole and forgetting how to read properly. You won't be in this page if you don't click it.If this hurt you, don't read it anymore.I'm not black so i can't rly relate to how hurt y'all feel but right now y'all started to feel like a bunch of harassers with how much you're dicking abt that word under every chapter you claim to not read.Y'all spend all ur energy coming in here writing passive-aggressiveness comments and disturb readers who wanted to discuss abt what they rly read won't suddenly make y'all less annoying. You don't want to forget?don't forgive?Fine,be angry off-screen.you can't?REDDITS,QUORA,TUMBLR.pick your choice.you guys can go rant there under your own posts without butting in the section where true readers are having conversation.
“y'all started to feel like a bunch of harassers with how much you're dicking abt that word under every chapter you claim to not read.”
I love how nothing in their statement brought up the n word yet you felt the need to bring it up, I also love how you felt the need to refer to them as a harasser despite them respectfully stating their opinion on the chapter and how they feel about a few ppl saying it’s not a big deal and other things.
Also for the love of god nothing is passive-aggressive about their statement. Majority of this statement was ignorant but holy that middle chunk was just dumb.
Question ♀ have you never done something wrong? I don’t support racism but the author apologized you said that wasn’t enough so what more do you want? You’re right apologizing doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. But no one’s perfect not even all the people making all the self righteous comments and you know what’s funny is that I’m sure they’ve all made mistakes and said sorry. Now I can’t say you’ve all been forgiven but at the very least they did want forgiveness. So I ask again why isn’t their apology enough?
I would like to let people know I’m white and even tho it is extremely rare we get discriminated against to. You all might not think this is anything at all but when I was in grade 7 one of my good friends all of the sudden stopped being my friend. When I asked them why they said they weren’t gonna be friends with whites. And then proceeded to call me a cracker (which is a slur for white people) for the rest of the school year this is the only time I ever experienced racism and it was horrible. So no I don’t condone it at all but I was never really all that angry just sad. I had thought that maybe friend had been through something that I didn’t know about. The point I’m trying to get at is even tho it’s rare how are any of us so sure that the author hasn’t been through something similar? That doesn’t make it right just more understandable and in my opinion more forgivable.
I have done several things wrong in my life, however they weren’t being racist, picking on somebody because of their gender or religion either.
People make mistakes sometimes they are due to being uneducated & other times they are simply due to hanging around bad groups of people.
In the author case it was due to a few factors, them not having enough acknowledgment on the topic, then following a whole bunch of racist stereotypes about black ppl & more. The author did apologize however it doesn’t mean the group he hurt has to forgive or forget. If they choose to that’s fine and if they don’t that’s also fine.
You can’t just expect people to forgive somebody for being racist, homophobic etc just because they apologize especially if they know what they’re doing or talking about. It’s not like the author had no idea how to handle racism they’ve done it before, they simply just didn’t do it in the right format.
If you see the word cracker as a slur in any format then you truthfully need to open up a history book, learn the history about actual slurs, how they formed & how much of an impact they had on people.
The word cracker is a FOOD, it’s not a harmful word it’s hardly an insult, just like the word snowflake, it’s an insult but now a harmful one, it’s simply ppl calling others sensitive in some cases.

Ok this one ain’t wiki and refers to cracker as a white racial slur
Once again ima simply tell you to open up a history book, cracker is an insult it’s not even towards a specific group of ppl, just like snowflake it’s a way for people to call other sensitive.
Do people use it to insult white people, yes sometimes but that doesn’t make it a slur, the ones being called it aren’t being called it for the reasons you think they are.
It won’t make me happy!! You opening up a history book and learning about actual slurs well.
Don’t get me wrong, the kid shouldn’t have called you the word nor should they have stopped being friends with you just because they were white, but calling words like ABC, Aunt Jemima Aunt Jane, slurs despite them literally names of some peoples actual aunties is not only disrespectful but waters down actual slurs and the heavy history that stems from them.
I don't usually read Yuri but this is super cute (¯―¯٥)
