I actually dislike this change, him being distracted thinking about sex while chaeyoon's telling his testimony is so out of character of him ://
Also, I think nobody is surprised just because of the sex, it has to do with the way it was introduced, it came out of nowhere (maybe it's more shocking for us who read the novel ¿)
agreed to every one of you!!
i like this story more as a character-driven, yoonseo-centric, and healing from tragedy genre. it's such a beautiful story already.
every episode was so good after a certain point but then there's that out of nowhere smut... it's so jarring, out of place, totally NOT necessary.
bl is tasty ngl, but for this story, it's better to just focus on yoonseo and the dungeon plot... adding the smut as an extra after the whole story's finished would be a very welcomed sweet treat.
I'm disappointed by this outcome ( ̄へ ̄)
I was so excited to see a conversation in which they'd developed their bound (after doing all the kissing more than three times but feign ignorance) and instead we got this "pseudo heat due to the moon" that has nothing to do with mc and AAAA
I was hoping some kind of explanation that'd had exclusive connection to the mc, but this way it seems he'd do it with everyone and I [want to] know it's not but stillll (¯ ¯ |||)
im hitting my head to a wall
I've been enjoying this so much, but I couldn't help but keep wondering why did yeoreum feel that big connection with hyunsun, I was asking myself how much could a 26yo relate to 40yo man, but after reading this Iast chapter I get to see why he feels so comfortable and in harmony with hyunsun
I'M SO SORRY FOR NEVER REPLAYING, this is my second account so I don't log in that much and tend to ignore the notifications
I think that the lasts chapters have deepened on that. for me, it's the fact that hyunsun revealed in their first pseudo date (at the bar) how he feels that he's been living a meaningless life. he says "I worked hard as told by those around me, but at some point I felt empty" and it's exactly how yeoreum has been feeling
This is the first time that he felt understood. It's as if both have been doing what's technically right and what is supposed to make a great life but they are not getting joy from it or any sense of achievement and, at the same time, what brings light to those souless lifes is music/guitars and the time they spend together. you could reread chapter 3 after this updates and see how things match between yeoreum's pov and the speech that gives hyunsun at the bar due to having the 40's crisis
The contrast between this moment, when they finally understand each others feelings, and how the season ended is devastating

His relative irl, the one we met at the banquet, kidnaps MC, the other celestial, and the frog and ends up tearing one of his wings from the root after beating mc in order to get his way, but mcs Duke is seething from it. That's where the manhwa season ends, after that it's up to novel readers to spoil.
(this info is from another reader I got so yeah I'm gonna go in the corner and cry)
their past and their dynamics had potential, not like to be a masterpiece but to be enjoyable, BUT THEY ARE SOO DUMB so dumb it is distracting
