I, too, read Harada when I was a kid and I didn’t consider that other kids would be doing the same thing. I wasn’t abused though, just had unfettered internet access. Well, only mentally and physically. This particular work is absolutely vomit inducing. I, fortunately, skipped this and a lot of other Harada because I wasn’t into Gintama and I was too scared by the warnings from the other crazy shit they wrote but holy hell, this one is particularly scary.
