someone should do a story in this style, and then in the MC pov the prince is scary and shit, like if it was some sort of thriller or horror webtoon, while in the dudes point of views is all flowers love and ''i cant get u outta my head'', but here she is REALLY bothered by him all the way and it becomes kind of opposite; instead of her being the evil bitch, the chaser and the dude the runner, the other way around in the second timeline. He is the evil motherfucker and she is just like ''fffuck off oh my god''

I am not rotting for Jiwon, I don't pity him, nor I sympathize with him. He was a fucking asshole with DG during far too long and was way too toxic. His story doesn't justify the wrongs he does. And he is simply reaping what he sowed. People don't change that easily, even if they date, if it were a realistic setting he would still be a fucker as soon as he realized that DG fell in love with him again. If DG go back to Jiwon just because ''he fell in love'' and not because he guarantees that he changed, then DG lacks more self love that what I expected This cute boi deserves respect and tons of love. Jiwon must suffer a lot more for my to empathize with whatever shit he has put DG trough.

people prefer fiction over reality in most cases, and especially fiction which they can see themselves in the characters to a certain point but be able to remove themselves during negative moments (Jiwon's toxicity/violence, DG desperation,etc) . For the most part readers will ignore all the negatives for a "happy ending" regardless of it actually making any sense because they just want that happy ending for their favored characters. Personally I don't like Jiwon and nothing the author can provide as additional points for his likability would provide enough reason to forgive his previous transgressions in a real world setting. However despite this, it's just a made up story with made up characters so there is also the argument of regardless of what the author decides to do with their characters or the direction the narrative takes I can either continue to read for the few elements of the story I do enjoy such as Chanwoo and MD or give up on this story entirely.
Indeed, very well observed. But the kind of thing you described on you second sentence is pure shit. An avid reader won't do that, you know? Much less a good author. Despite all I said, I will probably read until the end as well, since I already came this far and as you said, is not real. Still... This kind of romance tends to be downright absurd if you look at it objectively, plus what seems the most absurd are the comments pitying him so much. He doesn't deserve it. Why would he?
All we consume, read, watch and listen for entertainment is a reflex of our mindset, feelings, desires, fetishes, what it could be, and it will become. They are our sick desires, sometimes. Even if it isn't real the fact that lots of people chew and swallow this kind of content, that there are lots just like this one and even worse, show something quite disturbing about them. This is the first and last time I will read a story such as this one.

No i completely agree with you and I won’t lie I consume more and more stories like this within the BL genre is unfortunately making me question why I even began my journey into its consumption. Mind you I’ve bern reading since middle school and I’m 24 years old already. I don’t know it’s disheartening and honestly makes me want to stop reading the genre because while there are some real gems I haven’t seen any growth or change in the experience and expectations of reading BL and it fact it seems to be worsening at least to me when you have a plot like BJ Alex harrolded as the second coming of Christ so to speak.
you should read, if you haven't already, "Kami-sama no Ekohiiki" I started reading it with low expectations but now is one of my absolute favorite mangas of all time and it made me change all of my views in gay love portrayed in comics for females. Is really good and surprisingly it made me think a lot.

But the story would be so much better if the author at least tried to make us empathize with her character in a convincing way instead of demonizing her (yeah, sure, she had it tough, but I didn't really see a real effort to make us like her, she is not even compelling, just hateful) By consequence, is not very exciting to read the parts where she participates. That is not how you do a good character, let alone a good story.

she was talking to kirishima and he looked at her in that freaky scary way for some reasons, she got scared and said that he wanted to kill her. He denied. They argued over it for a while until he realized that he was insanely jealous, and proposed to act like a normal person if she liked it that way. She told him that planned to go away in a year time and he was like whAT. BUT, she said, if she fell in love with him she would stay.
And to make that happen he would have to act like himself; like the most insane man alive and if he did so, she would stay, and well, he complied with this weird ''i'm horny and in love and bashful and containing myself and horny'' face, and told her that he now was indeed in luv with her, even tho before he had his doubts about the duration of his own infatuation (if he would ever get tired of her) and would love her for eternity, as long as they lived (and that he would never let go of her)
this after saying that she could cheat on him all she wanted BUT it had to be in front of his eyes and that he would kill the man moments after
the chp ended with Yoshino telling Shouma that tomorrow she and kirishima would go to Osaka for summer vacations.
I skipped some parts just because is more fun this way

MAN, IT WAS SUCH A RIDE. There is not really a tangible romance, and is not reaally about that. But it was so interesting! It didn't feel rushed for me, and the FL wasn't annoying. The drawing was great (not that shoujo-ish, more clean). So was the mistery (At the beginning I though it would be one of those cliche childhood friend story, BUT NOOO, it was way crazier.)
