For season 1 of manhwa, it is purely shounen ai. In the novel, it starts off shounen ai then turn Yaoi later on when they get together. It is extremely slow burn type of story, with next season will focus on Jigu POV. We don't know whether the manhwa will actually change tag next season or it will stay shounen ai like most gamer BL out there like netkama punch.
