Yeah, he's also an animal person (his teeth were suspiciously sharp from the start), but it's kinda disappointing tbh. I wish he was a human who had to deal with having an animalistic wolf type of partner. Their strength difference alone was so sexy, as well as the need for Kamiya to restrain himself as to not injure the bottom. Now that tension is kinda gone... Super sexy nonetheless and well, a lil mpreg doesn't hurt either lol
Cute story overall and lovely art style. I loved the aspect of the top reading the bottom's thoughts just during sex as they're super intimate in this moment - even mentally. I do think their relationship was very rushed, but I guess when it's a rather short story like that, this can't be avoided. I would've loved to see more of how their awkward relationship progressed from a friendship to a crush, then to a romantic one.
The sex scenes here are so sterile I find myself skipping them. Maybe it has to do with the art style but they lack intimacy and tension imo. There's no soul in those characters as their expressions are empty somehow. Too pretty and perfected in a way, it's not raw enough.
The story is fine, but forgettable
Literally nothing to even critique or like here cause it's basically unfinished, very sloppy writing. It has the setup for a 40+ chapter story, but just randomly ends. I only enjoy the art style (especially the alpha's looks). The alpha and beta just randomly grow super close and like each other, despite the fact there are no pheromones to bond them that quickly - plot is missing!
Sure, the dominant alpha likes Inseo's smell, but this isn't the crazy types of pheromone infatuation. It doesn't make sense, it's rushed and sadly, its potential is completely lost. It wasn't even cute, just rushed.
I think the idea of defying destiny is quite interesting in an omegaverse setting and romantic, too. However, to really make it convincing, Miuyauchi could've not had the kid (as far as I'm concerned, betas can't have children in the first place. It's fiction, I know, and rules can be altered to the storyline, but with particularly a storyline like fighting destiny and rigidity, leaving the rigid rules in place would've made more sense for the impact of the story), and his love for Kudou would have still been purely out of choice for each other, without a fated bond, or a child keeping them especially bonded. I liked the idea of Miuyauchi craving a child and working through accepting his fate together with his super loyal, devoted Kudou. It would've made the story so believable. The first couple was forgettable, but I guess they were needed to introduce to us the actual main couple, even if set up as a 'secondary' butler couple.
Overall, some cool lines, interesting concept, however, at times, very confusing panels, family relationships, and inconsistencies with the baseline of the story - defying or accepting destiny.
Finally, fucking finally a non toxic, actually caring, actually expressing emotions type of alpha who's not a deranged robot, an untouchable perfect prince or a pervy, rape-y psychopath. Alpha seems like an actual human being and is SUCH A GOOD BOYFRIEND (he sets the bar where it should bem.. Oh boy, he does). Definetly happy to read this, it's a refreshing dynamic in omegaverse
Bro is clinging onto Hitomi like his life depends on it, despite knowing it's not the best for him to stay together. I'm guessing he can't help it as he's already formed a bond with H. It's kinda tragic in a way. I guess they'll cure their loneliness for each other, which screams veeery codependent as someone else said here, but due to their conditions, they kinda can't help it- it's their nature now. Poor Kiyama, he knows what he desires destroys the subject of his desire, Hitomi, but also can't live without him. Ah, their fucks are going to be insanely passionate CAN'T WAIT
*Kamiya, lol
