Looking at the comments saying it has harem and the tags don't is making me confused. I hope this harem is bearable and not at all cringe and cliche. Or else a good webtoon getting dropped cuz of the harem.
For people who says why are people reading something if they don't like the harem or are you just wanting mc to be single the whole read. The answer is no. There is a place for romance and harem. If I wanna read harem I would, romance and etc. But on adventure type settings... A harem always consists of annoying woman who has no contribution but gets to be the MC's friend. Most males in these scenarios become traitors or lusting over MC's (harem)friends making unnecessary fighting. I know I know shhh it's all cool. I just want the tags to be clarified if harem or just friends. Cuz this type of story... MC doesn't need romance since he's now a teller. Not human, a teller.
Had to legit comb through for a review on a Korean message board. 5 females, and yes it is a harem. Apparently the novel left a missing taste when it does a time jump of 5 years somewhere in the novel [this wasn't stated on where in the novel]. Another commenter had made it clear it was a harem, if I hadn't overlooked the harem tag the main poster had labeled in the beginning of their review.
Of course, no one clarified if it was a romance type of harem, or if it was just a collection type of harem. = .=
Oh well, the plot looks fun, so I'll continue reading it while letting chapters build up. The author def took inspiration from OVR since it started in 2022 while OVR was 2018. There were some spoilers that told me some stories that you couldn't see being villains were turned villain, even one that was really, really, really hard to see in a villain light xD
She's a woman and a part of nobility not the rule maker. If she tried to be hypocritical enough to say she'd abolish it. She's bound to be subject of more danger. If I were her I'd prioritize my safety over being hasty. People should put yourself on her shoes and see how hypocrisy can lead you to a bad end.
She has one goal. Her safety, totally understandable. And ML being a slave but get saved actually makes it easier for MC to make him like her more for actually saving him and he'd feel special since out of all slaves he got chosen. Manipulative, yes. But one way or the other I'd take it if it meant taking only one problem to save myself.
