Sure, he could have been more tormented but, would that really match his character? His in situation where his forced to keep pushing forward, fronting his hatred for Zhenya is his way of doing just that. Moving forward, and that's all grief is.
The author wanted us to believe Zhenya was a Deranged, Rich, Violent, Asshole. And that scene was how she felt would best get everyone there, and it worked.

I really admire Dooshik for not losing his mind after he realized Jooha forgot everything. Like my man must have some serious PTSD after all that I wonder how Dooshik really feels about the lost memories. Obviously he wouldn’t want the worst stuff to be remembered, but Jooha will never understand how deep Dooshik and his relationship is. He’ll never remember all of the comforting moments. All of that is just gone.
Idk maybe it’s not that deep. But as an avid reader of seeing these two fighting literal hell since the series release, I just can’t simply get over the fact that Joona forgot everything. I’m not mad about it. But I can’t simply ignore how Jooha got to where he is in the first place.
