
omg! what if yana created alois from the anime in place of real ciel so that the twin reveal doesn't spoil that early on and then the rest of the manga is going to go down vaguely like the anime but with different details and similar plot points (ie: queen being the perpetrator, ciel becoming a demon)

This story felt so mature, so realistic in that mundane, melancholic type of way that even if they didn't end up together and never met again, it would've felt satisfying and whole as a story, a precious memory, a slice of someone's life.
(fascinating to me that their falling in love isn't loud and fireworks, and I love you to death type of way but it's probably one of the most romantic experiences I've had reading a manga because it felt sooo organic and uncontrived)
But the way he responded was also hot af
