I know!!! And I was so happy that ML was so understanding of his trauma so I assumed a lot of thought went into writing this story and then that authors note happened and I was just disgusted
That non-con kiss was so So SO UNNECESSARY literally doesn't fit the plot at ALL especially since after that he was asking for consent for everything like what was the REASON?!?!?
