okay love the communication genuinely. i love that seth blurts it all out and horus sees through the harsh words and gets to the core of it: that seth is so dreadfully alone and feels undeserving of love and acceptance and is only worthy of punishment. hate to say it, but even the worst monsters in the world are ultimately still humans. you have to allow them rehabilitation and redemption because if you keep treating them like an unchangeable monster, then they will keep being an unchangeable monster. ennead may be about gods, but mythological pantheons have always had a lot of humanity to them. while seth has played an active part in paying reparations, being treated like a human intrisically deserving of respect and grace by horus has been key to his rehabilitation and i'd hate for people to miss that.
he was only doing his job as someone who wanted the best for his country but saw that his king was blinded by lust. obviously not enough to excuse the blood on his hands, but that's a sensible enough reason. after lifetimes of tragedy he lives through and the years and years of being influenced by demons, im not suprised that he'd go the dumbass route and doubled down.
