Is it wrong to make a story(Is it technically a comic since I'm American?) Based off of side characters from another story? I'm taking the elements in the story like occupation, look, and what we were given about personality and putting my own spin. That's not technically stealing is it?

Ehhh im not knowledgeable in this field (i don't read much djs).... But i think djs are fan based works derived from original works (if not wrong) so i guess there can be for manhuas/hwas too i.e. if u want to make it noones gonna stop u!
