i dont get it i had a lot of fun. i dont think it was dry or unemotional at all. i fact it was pretty emotional tbh. i loved the arcs each character went through, especially mika, who learned to love again! my favorite couple has to be yui and takaoka omfgg i eat up that toxic yuri... and the end might be a little non romantic to some but to me its pretty interesting that it lands in a sort of middle of the road thing, and i can totally see them getting together at some point.

im so happyyy but at the same time ughh i know japanese media and they will probably cast a full japanese man to play suzuki, instead of a latin-japanese man. which is such a bummer since it is a key part of his character (also if they cast a full japanese man, me as a latino i will be pretty sad, i got so happy that my culture gets to be a part of this beautiful story) i'm curious on how much the adaptation will follow the manga, since there are international dancers that are pretty important characters too.... well.... idk, i will still love this manga, no matter how the adaptation turns out!

Shinya Suzuki (Ryoma Takeuchi) is the Japanese champion of Latin Dance.
Shinya Sugiki (Keita Machida) is the Japanese champion.

let me tell you how much i cried because i thought for SURE yuki would tell the random guy that oshin was "a man" like tipical animanga shit and fuck man when he imagined how she would feel if he told him and didn't do it. fuck dude fuck i cried so hard i so happy oshin gets to have a happy life with her ideal man. honestly i'm actually devastated over this manga it's so good.
its so peak! i love how there is real game development fun facts and stuff!!! you can see how passionate the author is about gaming and about his silly little gay people
