I love this story SO much and I see content abt it in social media but it's always full of comments from women who love toxic or incels who think bullying someone bc you like them is okay and they naturally relate to Oushi and want him to be endgame, saying shit like "the story isn't over yet" "oushi you should get ""your"" girl back"
I don't get if they're blind or forgot how to interpret things, since oushi is not on the cover, the synopsis and even the opening shows who everyone ends up with (oushi is showed alone)
Look I don't hate Oushi, yet since the anime came out I'm so frustrated bc they keep hating on itsuomi for his nonchalant personality and praising Oushi as if he didn't say he believes deaf people shouldn't go outside and Yuki shouldn't go to uni. Also only saying rude and mean things to her, telling her Rin is only a volunteer and not actually her friend, heck they literally know eachother since they're kids yet he never even got her number. He saw how she's happily in love and trying to pursue her, making her uncomfortable just bc he never had the chance to confess (when he had their whole life to do so)
He's not a horrible person but God I'm starting to become his #1 hater
So that's why she told itsuomi her voice is weird, poor baby Yuki
I would like to know why every anime watcher and their mother thinks itsuomi is the red flag and Oushi has a chance bc that's all I'm seeing lately
They are so used to jerks they project 1st mc as such and 2nd lead as the better alternative instead of actual reading their character through theur actions

From what I can tell this author does fluffy stories. Check out her previous works. Most of it is tame stuff.
Oushi never asked her out. He even dated other girls. If it wasn’t Itsuomi it would’ve been another guy. He’s dreaming if he thinks no guy would notice her.
Fr. And I couldn't handle when I see comments saying, "Run, girl! He only likes you coz you're interesting." If that's their first thought, then it's good for them to stop watching.
Meanwhile, they don't even clue into the fact that Itsuomi never, not once, considered Yuki less than due to her disability. Instead, he finds sign language beautiful, just as much as he finds other cultures and other languages beautiful. Never mind that he learns sign language himself, but he's so confident that he makes sure Yuki never questions their relationship.
And yet, they keep on saying, "Aw poor Oushi. Give him a chance." Hell nah. If you want him, you can keep him.

I speak English and Spanish and all im seeing in my social (in both languages) lately is people saying this, specifically how itsuomi is too touchy with Yuki so "he's a red flag and a player" and oushi should be endgame bc "he's overprotective of her "
"Overprotective" lol. Wants her to stay indoors coz it's safer. Wants to keep her safe and secure coz, as a deaf person, life is harder. I can't with him.
