Ok, so I have seen loads of people complaining about the sexism in this manga. First of all, it is literally the main bit of structure for the storyline; it would be a completely different storyline without it.
Furthermore, the (main) reason that the world is so sexist is that MEN HAVE SUPERPOWERS and WOMEN DON'T. Evidently men are stronger in this world. I am not saying that it is right, but at least there is an actual reason.
I mean, if you really think that the prejudice in this manga is a problem, then just don't read it. It is clearly not condoning it, as the FL is acting against it and it has been disproved by most of the more likeable characters.
I got one agree I mean yes there is sexism in the book but what it’s teaching is as readers is the opposite since the FL is so strong.
'Complain explained'
We all agree that the main structure of the storyline is the sexism. The fl is against it (ofc) but she hasn't made ANY changes to it. If we even compare 1st ep to the latest, the sexism hasn't changed AT ALL. The only thing that changed is that every main male characters are crazy for her. And since she kisses the main male characters' asses since the beginning (which is understandable, have a nice day), it makes the "love" of these mls for her seems to come from her kissing ass. And ofc the 'power' she has is part of the reasons, but it seems like a small part (since when she was known to be able to read the ancient language, they don't treat her that differently).
So in conclusion, people aren't mad about the sexism in that world, they're mad about what the fl've done about it
It makes me so bloody sad that he's gorgeous and he's never ever been told that. SOMEONE TELL ME WHEN SHE FINALLY CAN GIVE HIM ALL THE COMPLEMENTS HE DESERVES
