Who's the demented thing that put a shoujo tag on this monstrosity... this is clearly a grade S psychological horror.
I could write a thesis about this manga and I will so buckle up... also kind of spoiler-y
The poor girl was so broken after multiple horrible.... and I mean HORRIBLE deaths to the point of resignation but still keeping a will to live imo is due to her abrupt uncalled for sudden deaths and her current passable life... I mean things were only starting to go wrong in this life so nothing to bad... yet.
She clung to the creature who... funnily enough was the only being that showed her a humane gentleness... not even her sudden badass family who were magically nonexistent until this life. (little bro gets a pass since I, unlike a CERTAIN evil being, do consider instant brainwashing to be a reasonable excuse.)
I saw no difference between her in the end and her "ex-fiancé"... both seemed like shells of souls devoured by evil creatures... the evil was indeed evil-ing this time.
I loved this though 8 outta 10 great story somewhat decent telling with a few holes here and there but not too bad for me but the shining star was the character development(?) or should I say character deterioration... it was soo good and even though I knew it was coming the steps for it were delicious.
I gotta say though... no human walked out of this happy, the kingdom (people who know) will have to live with the constant fear of him coming down to them and just ending them on a whim, the love interests... well you know and the saint has to live with alll... that on her conscience even though she could have tried to purify or idk help our girl she didn't so that conscience is real lifetime stinger.
Finally we have mrs. bride (or imo what's left of her) isn't a human and also entrapment weather mental or physical =/= love even if obsession was involved so I'm kinda on the side that thinks that's not a happy ending.
Fun read and I ate it up start to finish in one setting, but DEFINITELY NOT SHOUJO.
If you reached here please recommend similar things with a close bad end(?) but with better writing would be preferred.
I do see the vision of him not being the best smelling guy, but then I remember he loves his kid and wants to teach her good things so I believe he keeps it clean for her but idk about the days she's not there but his gf is fuss so probably wouldn't stand it if he stank... idk both sides make sense cause his personality seems to be giving off both auras to me.
I've been looking for something like this for a long time where the dimensional communication isn't just pulling people from everywhere and putting them somewhere new nor is it dealing with "similar but kinda different" dimensions... it's actual dimensional communication where everyone has their own unique world and technologies.
My main problem is that some chapters end some situations so abruptly that I start to think I missed a chapter or two, or they introduce characters that are supposed to be part of the main cast that aren't fleshed out, and some scenes feel like incomplete plot points.
The good things are the main plot is good, the characters mostly have good chemistry, and like I said I'm in love with the premise.
I'd give it 3.5/5 start for now but who knows maybe with some character development it'll get a 4/5.
That's just my opinion, and if anyone knows another dimensional communication with unique worlds please let me know. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Bro is so good at manipulation he started manipulating himself.
