That's prob the adult timeskip you're talking about. If you focus on the story, He tian will leave soon because of personal matters(it's already explained in the story) and then come back
The time skip already happened here I believe, it's their adult versions. He's saying he'd have forgotten about him if he didn't come back recently.
even if this ends im hoping for many side stories and extras for the side couples (?) story!!
