That's prob the adult timeskip you're talking about. If you focus on the story, He tian will leave soon because of personal matters(it's already explained in the story) and then come back
The time skip already happened here I believe, it's their adult versions. He's saying he'd have forgotten about him if he didn't come back recently.

I think he is concerned about Jaehyuk outing him and not being careful enough with who and how he talks about them and their relationship. Considering his trust issues, overhearing the conversation could also be triggering despite Jaekhyuk insisting on how serious he is. He could also be upset because of the never ending drama caused by Jaehyuk's friends. It is a very frustrating situation for a lot different reasons...
