I'm so so so so fucking annoyed with the entire trope of sexual prodigy/manwhore/slut/hoe seme or uke and innocent,never been deflowered, inexperienced,did nothing that ever scratches the surface of sexual uke/seme.it's just plain annoying.the experienced one automatically gets an upper hand.like plz if only authors could try either making both well experienced or virgin like secondo piato or gentle forest.there seems to be some balance.about time this trope dies down

I mean, tbf, this is a smut yaoi and thats what the people want, but it really DOES SUCK WHEN THE CONCEPT IS SO COOL and they have these awful couple dynamics that ruin the prospect of the storyline. I tend to analyze the shit out of things and when I come across stuff like this I ruin it for myself bc I refuse to let myself enjoy poorly written media. Honestly though, why do people have a problem with this trope? It literally happens in real life. For example, the first guy I (virgin at the time) had sex with already had multiple sex partners before me. (╭ರ_ ⊙ )
LMAO...I can't even stop laughing. I just don't see why people take this stuff so seriously. When we can just read pple's stuff, and if we ain't satisfied with their work we make our own stories to prove a point.
It's fun to talk about what your reading with people reading along with you. It's why book clubs exist, is literally why there are comment sections so many places where people read stuff.
It's not necessarily that people take it so seriously so much as that talking about how we feel about the story is part of how we enjoy it.
Just because you don't talk about how you feel about a story doesn't mean it's wrong, bad, not stupid to do so.
As a writer myself, I find myself connecting to and/or opposing characters within the story, the world it's built within, the events that happen, and if it's written well enough, feel like I become part of it in a way. So it only makes sense to want to talk about how I feel about it. I also like to try to hypothesize outcomes, rant about stuff I don't like, gush about what I do, and come up with alternate endings if I don't love the one provided, new outcomes if I think of some that fit better with the story I have interpreted than what the author went with.
There is so much to talk about and opinions can't be wrong so it's fun and it just adds to the story itself. Were not taking it so seriously, were just expanding and discussing it.
You're welcome to not do so just as much as others are welcome to. And honestly, speaking for myself at least, when we make a comment like the one op here did, we generally do drop the story. It's also natural to be upset about something you've spent so much time reading; enough to rant before you drop it.
I take it seriously bc I just be enjoying a story with a cool plot about this guy who keeps turning into water whenever be feels heartbroken and then all the sudden he gets deflowered by his exbff who is a huge manwhore. I expected smut but with how that played out, I cant help but predict that the mc is gonna become super attached to this guy and keep getting his heart broken by him bc he sleeps around a lot. unfortunately I dislike toxic relationships and now I have to live with the fact that the story isn’t going how I want. I am just annoying like that
