Yes my own rabid dog. So one day when i was 9 yo my dog were slipped away from our house and lost. Around a week or two after he came back. I was so happy so i hug him not realized his changed of behavior. He bit me and not long after he died. I cried. Dad chopped his head and sent it in an icebox to a vet lab. Day after results came turned out 100% rabies. So i got some shots the same day. That traumatized me and keep me away from adopted any dogs for 2 years until dad bring back another dog and teach me how to love them again

This was kinda hard for me to process coz "CHOPPED HIS HEAD OFF?" my father is very attached to our dog so i can't imagine that. And i'm guessing he bit you coz he didn't want u to like get his rabies and he prob came to meet you one last time before he died. And it's good that ur father got y'all a new dog

Well even when the dog has passed away it was still not easy for my dad either. But he did what he must did to save his little daughter life or else i cant have the medical treatment since its lethal to have the antivirus if turn out im not infected.
The dog has passed away from rabies before my dad chop and sent the head to lab.
The rabies spread by saliva trough biting so its not true when you said hi bite me coz he didn't want me to get his rabies. Its like saying zombies bite people because they didn't want people to become zombies like them
