They're actually cute together if you just forget That One Scene from chapter 1. Like, that scene genuinely doesn't make sense-- even from how Hachikaku acts later. I think this manga was one (among many, many others) suffering from the "You Need A 18+ Scene In Every Chapter"-disease; or, in other words, probably the publishers had that as a requirement and the mangaka just didn't know how to fit that in the first chapter.
So honestly I'l just ignore that bit and enjoy the rest

Ugh, I can see the artist's style slowly easing into more and more shoujo-esque territory the first shot of Yoi in ch32 honestly reminds me of the way Morishita Suu-sensei draws faces... I don't want to lose androgynous Yoi... sob sob...
Usually I don't care for art style changes throughout a manga (I mean, it's unavoidable when they run for long enough) but if Yoi starts looking like your everyday shoujo protagonist doesn't that subtract from the plot too...? I'm kinda scared tbh
