CRYING SCREAMING THROWING UP WHAT IS THIS CHAPTER I was SO (delusionally) happy at the first half of the chapter that they had finally learned to sit down and actually talk about things and then THIS is how this ends??? WHY CAN'T WE HAVE NICE THINGS

I never noticed when this got serialised so now I'm just comparing both 1st chapters and giggling. The author just straight up just gave Kaname a bigger chin on one of the panels lol

Anyways, after finishing this I have to say it really does feel like an oneshot-turned-series; plot is definitely not where it's at. Kaname looked hot when they had sex after he turned(/was turning) into a vampire, but that's about it. They tried for some drama with the different lifespans thing, but as someone who really enjoys that narrative a lot, the execution of it all was extremely lackluster. It *feels* like it should've been this "gotcha" moment of Kaname being indecisive, but it just reads in a low-energy kind of way...? And not really dramatic.
I think it worked more as a oneshot, tbh, because the suspension of belief was higher, but now there's little dots all over the story that just feel wonky and you can't really ignore them. Like the parental-figure-turned-love-interest plot point (which gets weirder than it already is on ch2), the thing with Vampire n2 and the Adam kid (which, btw, who let that child have a scalpel???), and the fact that Kaname seems kind of indecisive for a priest...??? I guess I can't really judge; I'm not religious nor do I partake in religious activities so I can't really say how a priest should act on their religion. I guess I just expected his religion to play a bigger part on his character.

All in all, not that great. It's an ok read, but it does have great art and vampires so that kept me entertained enough ╮(￣▽￣)╭

He was one hell of ass for pulling that stunt, but it does go to show he riled Yusa up on purpose to get himself killed :// so I feel like this situation sucks on both sides, really

PS: With how Yusa is thinking about the cycle of the incubus being reincarnated, I gotta say I think he's going to look for a way to be reincarnated too...??? It sounds kinda extreme but I guess it's a way outta his situation

I love how cute Mikoshiba and Amakuni are, but why would anyone buy multiple books on ""lovemaking""....? Like, internet aside, is there really that much to this subject that it'd warrant the need for *multiple * books...??? Books are expensive, just buy doujin instead.

Anyway lol I'm mostly joshing. This was still a pretty good manga; nothing really groundbreaking on the dynamics but they were well executed so, a great (and cute) read. Amakuni and Mikoshiba especially were great with how awkward (as in, blushing and stuff) they both were around each other, but I have to say I really loved Miyabi-senpai... she was so cute...
