Howe is super annoying and Torao is a delusional doormat, so putting up with this was hard work, but honestly it could've been salvageable if the ending managedto work things through properly... but then they have half a conversation, fuck, and apparently things are okay now?? Like, I have no issues with flawed characters, so up until a certain point I was still vibing with their dynamic... but that's only if those flaws are properly acknowledged and worked through – which, in this case, they are frustratingly not. Like, be so fr man all that crazy ass act from Howe and you're NOT gonna at the very least acknowledge it??? I know Torao is like, a M and supposedly into it, but Howe stepped ALL over that man you can't just try to explain that shit away with "they're jusy freaky like that" and expect that to make a good story.
Anyways.... this was such a let down. It could've been great if they tried to explore how both Torao and Howe felt upon failing the expectation of being fated, and what that expectation meant for each of them-- like, Howe obviously expected to be an omega, but maybe considering how Torao is now he expected that he would be the omega?? Idk, there's a lot of good food for thought with their dynamic and this setting... but then the execution blew everything up to high heavens and I'm just mad now istg I'm making carbon-copy OCs like I'm playing house just to flesh out a proper ending for this setup
Well, the art is good at least ig, so pushing through the senseless plot was easier. As a whole tho this was just a let down unfortunately

This starts a bit rough on the poly front, what with indecisiveness being Atsushi's main characteristic and Shiki just realy honing in that he wanted to "win" over Enraku... but by end, it turns out pretty great tbh. I do kinda wish Enraku and Shiki were in love too, but as things stand I'm happy they're good friends... Their 3-way dynamic feels unique, healthy (although very freaky lolol) and loving all the same, so it's still very nice. All hail polyam representation!!!

I was scared as hell because the premise is super sketchy, but this is actually a pretty good story, I loved the storytelling here. Both main characters are pretty misogynistic bc of their own trauma (which is understandable, but not excusable) but it's not as if they're ever, at any given time, painted to be morally corrected - it's quite the opposite, in fact - so I don't see why this is being held against the story itself. I for one hate people who are as possessive as Akanishi irl, but I quite like his character and how "steadily" he planned to bring out Ryo's love for him.
They're both bad people in a similar way, and tbf it's a good thing they have eachother for good now, since that means no one else gets caught in that crossfire ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╠but I still really enjoy seeing them be mushy with eachother. That's what love is about ig, everyone gets their shot at it lol
My main gripe with this is that Ryo's "encounter" with those men is moreso a jealousy bait than anything else, even when the whole of ordeal was very exploitative of Ryo. But other than that, I really enjoyed the storytelling and the portrayal of the characters-- Akanishi's smile was coniving and sweet all at once, I loved it.

I mean, it's the kind of thing meant for you to read with your brain turned off but they're cute together so, yk, I'm happy all things considered. I'm just left wondering when is it that they'll discuss the elephant in the room of Natsume literary not being human and therefore (presumably) having a very different lifespan
"Cisco computer" is crazy what kind of ass MTL was that in the title. How does that even happen.
Anyway, I hope we get a side of yuri now with Koyurin realizing how pretty and cool Yui is if there's gonna be any romance in this manga I hope it's them
