Now that Caste Heaven is heading for it's finale
I can't help but recall chapter 8 (The group sex) and chapter 17 (The stick and mirror)
that was unbelievably infuritating,
Karino's jealousy and abuse were too much that I cried for Azusa's sake

This is just a yaoi manga and it's best not to get too involved but I must admit that I identify with Azusa too much, when he was in pain I felt it too.
Having no friends, too pride for his own good, difficult sitution at home, victim of constant abuse.
Now came chapter 23 and it's like a prize for enduring all that suffering
I'm quite sure Karino and Azusa won't have a serious converstion and/or sincere apology So I would be satisfied with just a simple "I love you".
Finale? I don't think so. They have a long way to go... especially when they go back to school... That's gonna be a mess and she can't put all of that in two chapters
Next Karino will help Azusa fight Eno
and end the Caste System.
I think ogawa can tackle everything in 2 chpaters, maybe it will extend to one more volume.
But the main conflict is already resolved.
Tbh I feel like there would still be alot of more to come but idk... We have the creepy ass mystery man to deal with or the creepy teacher (still couldve been someone else) but dont forget Eno as wellllllll. It'll probably take more than two chaps to settle all these but i aint complaining besides i love to see more of Azusa and Karino AHHAHAH
Definitely more volumes , the manga is super popular right now in Japan, there is caffe bar with the Caste heaven theme and the game is coming out in two weeks. Definitely more. This is just a beginning of them accepting each others feelings. They still haven't accepted it properly.
Plus if Karino goes against Eno he's breaking the rules which will make him a target and in that mini game which decides in which part of the caste you belong we can see that Karino hates breaking rules. He will have to decide between Azusa and the class.
I had no idea that CH is that popular in Japan, it's so nice to hear this.
If Karino breaks the rules and becomes a tragert now
that would be one hell of a plot twist.
I won't be disppointed to see Karino suffers for his love ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
but the classmates seems to get along alot more with eachother in the last few chapters,
I'm more inclined to think that they will all unite together agains the system(=Eno),
there is no going back to the beginning when everyone acted like a crazy, abusive, and rapey person.
that's my opinion anyway...
p.s - I hope it's that popular that we will see Anime version sometime in the future!
I think that creepy teacher plot was besically dropped.
Anyway, I don't see how it contributes to the main storyline.
The last time that teacher was mentioned was on chapter 10,
and now it's chapter 23 and lots of things happened since.
Let's be honest, the plot doesn't make complete sense, a lot of suspention of belief is needed while reading, that include plot holes and dead end plot lines.
Only the arch-villain Eno is still in the game.
Having said that, it would be great if we get more and more volumes but
I have a feeling this manga is going to be finished very soon.
The teacher is still in the game , they made stickers for LINE and he is there.... I think she is thinking of returning him

Definitely wrong , it's on chapter 23. Ogawa is super active on Twitter. There's a Caste heaven game coming out soon. There's a collaboration caffe bar all Caste heaven themed. There's no English translation though.
I need to pick my source carefully now i think. So have you read until chapter 23 ? I envy you. Is there a sign its going to end soon ?
To me , they've gotten closer but so many problems await them. At least a few more volumes since it's senseis life work.

I really like Caste Heaven it's psychological, twisted and have a great MC (Azusa <3)
but all the breaks sensei makes really hurt the flow of the plot.
I wonder if I would have still like it as much as I do now if is was a completed manga.

It's funny how Karino is officially the 'King' of the game
yet Azusa despite being the 'Target' is acting all authoritative and somehow makes everyone around him do what he wants.
I'm sure Azusa will give Eno really hard time...
This chapter further emphasis the diffrence between Karino and Azusa
Asuza's mom is very emotional, kind of simple minded but protective and caring for her son.
Karino's mom is very cold and treat other people as lower than herself "here I was thinking you'd finally understood your place..." (chap 18 page 17)
That's definitely something Karino could say.
The boys are like reflection of their moms and had very different life experiences and upbringing.
I do wonder how can they can close this distance like Azusa wonder to himself (chap 18 page 15)
maybe confess their love to eachother?
I personally don't mind if they become a couple now, before I couldn't bear watching Karino abuse Azusa so much.
Azusa can truly kick ass (chap 18 page 34) that kick he gave Inukai was awesome and Inukai totally deserved it.
So I suspect that physically Azusa could resist Karino before but unconsciously chose not to do it.
It doesn't make their relationship more sane but a bit more redeeming.
I *do* expect some remorse and regret from Karino though - threating with gangrape is very bad!

I know it's the common yaoi trope that the uke falls in love with seme
and they live happily ever after and no one ever mention the rapey start of their relationship
but I wish caste heaven would be different.
For example, the ending that I would like to read:
Azusa would plan some sort of revolution against the caste game organizer/inventor.
Karino would apologize for all the things he did to Azusa.
Azusa would then consider forgive him & remain his lover if he would help him end the caste game.
Don't worry i think it will have a very good and unexpected ending
