The Untamed is a good show. I watched it first and I got me hooked on MDZS. All adoptions have differences from their source material for various reasons, it is not deception.
Also it's Fan Fiction! Even without the drama, I'm sure there would still be fans shipping anyone & everyone with each other and changing some aspect of the story around. That's what fan fiction is. If you don't like a certain fanfic nobody is forcing you to read it.
You can state you opinion and not recommend something, but you can't just tell people what they can and cannot do.

I agree to this! I finished the novel and watched the show and I like them both. Stop thinking that all books will be adopted the same way in the drama. I mean, even Harry Potter was different in films, lol. And yeah, if you don't like the fanfic don't read it. Period. This kind of thinking is what the actor Xiao Zhan into trouble..sad..
