Based on what i understood until now, wich is basically nothing. He is making his path trough money ?
Like he is gaining political and economic power so when the shit happens he will not have to back down when the army, the 16 people that he said are his enemies and others powers around the world do something about the dungeons and the crack from wich the monsters will apear ?
I am really confused about it, i thought we would see him training his body and acquire abilities and train them as well, did not expect all this economic war.
Sorry if I wrote something wrong, i am from Brasil and my english is not that good for write.
His main reason for making money is to buy a land which contains a dungeon where he can literally run amok and do anything, especially getting stronger, he wants for free. It’s also for him to gain a backup, and influence (like controlling the land with money). ╮(￣▽￣)╭
