This manhua has forever altered my taste in omegaverse stories. Alpha x Alpha pairings has me frothing at the mouth because of these two. But this story especially separates itself from the rest
There's a question of whether Brett's "doing too much" when his relationship with Hayden can sometimes seem like a casual fwb agreement. But if you go back to Ch. 5-6 when they're in the library, it was explained that Brett had to go through intensive investigation (stalking) to find someone like Hayden. His obsession stems from his long standing dissatisfaction of his life, the people around him, and the role he's continuously expected to play as the alpha son of a rich and prominent family. Therefore when he finally found Hayden he became the sole thing that allowed him to be and experience the very thing that gave him happiness and the freedom to enjoy sex the way he wants it.
I'm not sure if either Brett doesnt believe in love, or simply sees it as something fleeting so he doesnt see the point in getting invested in something temporary. But its possible that part of his feelings for Hayden may already be love, he just doesn't know it yet.
I feel like since the king decided to stop pretending and just went ahead and openly forced himself on the uke, it's just downhill for the uke at this point. Confinement and maybe even torture in the future chapters ╥﹏╥

I really liked how Jin was portrayed in the beginning, but after 40+ chapters his character's stedily gone downhill. For the sake of my sanity I have to stop hoping the author will redeem his character
I feel like the art degraded a little in these current chapters. The panels where the mc and ml are together should have the most detail, but there's quite a few blank faces and empty eye sockets in the recent chapters

The scene when Hayden told Brett that he would take him to the gym and the next panel zooms in on Brett's surprised face, almost seems out of character for him. He's usually very observant so the fact that he didn't sense the subtleties of Hayden's feelings is a bit uncharacteristic. When they were at the bar and Hayden mentions Nathan, it's pretty obvious theres a hint of jealousy there so that should have at least told him that there's something there despite Hayden being previously passive and even cold towards him. But I understand that maybe these things has to happen so that Hayden's misunderstanding at the end can have more impact.
I let this marinate for a long time and this is where I end up. It's like being punched in the gut ╥﹏╥
OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! This was so painful to read!! I dont really like hyung forcing that kiss to see "who's right" but this is where you see him succumb to despair. I mean, he spent years liking someone (and believing that person also liked him back) only to be told that they never had feelings for him. I would lose my sanity too

I understand Sejin has incredibly low self esteem and he doesn't see himself as being worth anyone's time, but the chapter when he just went with the brother was so maddening. The phrase "I didn't want to make a scene" is one of the most triggering thing a passive person can say.
I dont usually like when characters seem expressionless but I think, in this case, it suits the uke since it matches his characteristics

Every time I see Scott I fight the urge to skip, but I eat up every content of this story so I slog through it
I get that Brett initially used a "mutually beneficial transaction" in the beginning to get closer to Hayden since that's probably what he felt would be the best/fastest way to get what he wanted, but I wish he didnt continue to keep using that now that him and Hayden have established somewhat of a "relationship". Brett obviously likes being with Hayden and I believe he did what he could to get him to hang out with him, no matter how lame it sounded. Unfortunately, Hayden catching feelings first and Brett being the way that he is makes Hayden feel manipulated, that's why he insisted in the end panel that him being there was his choice.
