So in the finally chapter of the first Doku Mushi, after Reiji kills and eats Renbi it ends with a woman staring out the window holding a baby. I didn't understand what that meant, but it turns to have been Emi holding Reiji and Mari's baby. And Emi was part of the same cult Michiko was in. So Vee wasn't Reiji afterall, and Emi took part in this Kodoku to protect the child being Michiko's replacement. IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!!!
