LMAO so uh our mc (kang jun) likes junwoo (the brown haired guy) and then this new guy (han taesan) starts getting bullied by junwoo. Jun does nothing about it yeah. Jun one day randomly sees taesan reading a book and goes up to his desk and asks if the book is fun and tells him that jun has alrwady read the book. Taesan becomes excited to know that and asks if he can talk to him about the book after he finishes reading it. Jun says sure. And then later when junwoo and jun were in the smoking area (jun wasn’t smoking, junwoo was) taesan comes around searching for jun to talk about the book but notices junwoo and gets scared and idk i didn’t understand the dialogue there but taesan says somethinf along the lines of “but still you’re cool” to junwoo and LMAO junwoo kinda blushes (he fell in love yo ) but still bullies him cause yeah and then jun notices it, jun is kinda jealous and hurt inside and thinks “why are you looking at him like that? Notice me… Notice me instead” so with this thinking he starts defending taesan when junwoo bullies taesan so as to catch junwoo’s attention and drift his attention towards himself. All throughout this, the black haired guy (yohan) is very sus, he doesn’t have many dialogues but he’s always looking or noticing at our mc or talking to him (maybe yohan likes jun idk). After jun starts defending taesan, taesan kinda becomes shy around jun. There’s multiple scenes where jun defends taesan infront of junwoo and junwoo get’s annoyed. In one scene he lifts his hand to hit jun but yohan interferes and nothing happens. All this while jun inside is burning with hatred for taesan (jealousy and everything) and then there’s certain scenes with yohan, just jun and yohan talking. I didn’t read the dialogues cause they were too long but yo i think the ML is yohan for sure. Also junwoo goes and removes the seatmate of taesan and sits there himself and gives a candy to taesan and tells him to eat it (in a tsundere way LMAO ) since he likes taesan, he’s most prolly tryna change and also trying to change the way taesan thinks of him. And then jun one day receives a note asking him to meet him at some room (idk it was like a storage room) he thinks about who it might be that sent him the note. Turns out it was taesan. Taesan is just there blushinf like usual, standinf there and was about to say whatever he wanted to say but junwoo interrupts by ipening the door very angrily bro was MADDD and asked what they were doing here alone and he goes and punches jun and then pulls taesan with him. Jun cries there alone. Jun couldn’t believe junwoo hit him. And then he takes leave from school because of the bruise. The last scene where the raws stopped was when jun was told by his fam member that someone from school came to visit him. Jun thinks it’s junwoo and runs to the door with hope but it was actually yohan. The last panel of the raw was yohan with an angry expression asking “what happened to your face?” (The bruise). That’s all LOL

Thanks a lot, really. This will spare me from spending even one more minute to read that mess of a story. For a bl with ml and mc, the story is more focused on Junwoo than the ml, making ml looks like a supporting character. And everyone except that poor Taesan (in who I have no interest) are horrible people. The art's nice but the plot is not worth.

Just an FYI, that's not the plot at all! Taesan and Junwoo are minor characters and only appear this much at the beginning before fading out. They're both used as plot devices that allow Yohan and Kang Jun to get closer together, and are foils of each of them.

Haha that's okay. It's true that all the characters in this story are not good people and have questionable morals, but that's why it's my favorite :') If you like stories about the rawness of human nature and the struggles of boys dealing with homophobia both outright and internalized, it's for you! But anyone wanting even a smidge of fluff or kindness won't like it.

Personally, mc personality isn't in the grey area but leans more towards dark area, lol. I'd say that even if he stays put and doesn't bully anyone he's enough bad to be a villain bc he's calculative and manipulative, only acts out of interest and has 0 empathy. He's no good and has thrown his heart to someone as awful like that dude. Certainly his stance will change, as he'll interact with ml, so they're redeemable there's no doubt. That may hurt you who like this story to hear this, but that's just my opinion on what I read. His personality reminds me of that other Uke's, but forgot the title... I don't know about others but I like to read dark stories too, but yeah, I need to feel sympathy for the mc. I like anti-heroes. They don't need to be justiciers, but not like that. However we can like the story for the differences and characters it brings, that's fine too. Maybe in 40+ chapters I'll come back to see what happens.

You're right! I think I just read more black flag stuff (murder, rape, kidnap, etc) that anything a high school kid does doesn't put him in that same category to me. Kang Jun is spoiled and self-serving, and only asks kind to others as a mask to hide that he's gay and to get a better place in the hierarchy of school society. He doesn't care that he steps on people and manipulates them to get what he wants, because he outright admits that he thinks he's better than them. As a novel reader, I would say his stance never changes. Even when the tables turn later and he is in Taesan's position of being bullied, he still thinks he's better than everyone and schemes to get back at them lol. That's just who he is, and him and Yohan orbit around each other because they realize like attracts like. Yohan has his own issues; religious trauma and an emotionally abusive father, and his own sister acknowledges that he's a sociopath who was born without empathy and is starved for love lol. I just really love a story where two extremely flawed characters can find love regardless of all the awful things they both do and go through.
