they’re so overly dramatic. like i can easily understand both sides, but the dialogue and actions are so overly dramatised, i cant help but cringe and laugh on the bright side, at least theres no more misunderstandings and they can only go up from here (hopefully - bc knowing them, we’ll get another 50 secrets and 200 more misunderstandings)

i mean this was a shit show from the start. all the hope we had for winter immediately went down the drain when he became a rapist, then we watched raymon groom a young winter (who seemed to be a minor at the time), then we find out raymon himself was groomed, raped, forced into drugs etc and he kinda pushed the same cycle onto winter. i think it’s quite obvious this wasn’t gonna be a good story, but there was sm heavy stuff going on that you wouldn’t have expected such an anti-climactic, lacklustre ending. like this is a big bowl of nothing, genuinely. raymon never gets his justice against dominic and dominic gets to enjoy his miserable life, that ugly decomposing rat he genuinely looks rancid, like sewer water in real life. and we never found out winter’s age even after two seasons of dog shit

i really hope the author doesn’t give that deadbeat a redemption arc or whatever. deadbeat should say his piece, haebeom should get to vent and lash out 36 years of restrained anger and disappointment, and then deadbeat fucks off. maybe if he’d come around when haebeom was around 8-10 it would’ve been fine, but knowing haebeom’s mother passed away and he still never reached out and now he rolls around 36 years after his child was born is fucking insane he doesn’t deserve an ounce of sympathy. he’s so fucking useless and pathetic IT MAKES ME SO MAD BRUH CAN HE GO KILL HIMSELF THAT STUPID PIECE OF SHIT
i decided to re-read season one, bc i forgot about soomin and doha, and doha’s father but wow, his father is a piece of shit. the author would be very stupid to ever write a story about doha’s fathers getting back together, if i’m being honest. the man who gave birth to doha is a dominant alpha and doha’s father is a beta. birth giver left doha and his dad to find love with an alpha and experience ‘real’ love. in chapter seven, doha and his father go out to eat together and doha’s father gives him advice that he shouldn’t be with someone who makes him feel “inadequate” - he says those words with a sad expression, most definitely bc hes speaking from experience. if doha’s birth giver didnt want a child, he should’ve had an abortion instead of dropping the child to someone and fleeing to someone else. in the later chapters (season two) i’m not a big fan of doha’s father bc of how he treats jihwan (calling him “boy” etc) but he shouldn’t be punished by having that stupid ex come back into his life. can you imagine someone leaving you to explore their options and find “real love”, but they expect you to never move on and be a placeholder, just staying still in your life while waiting for them. that’s sick, doha’s birth giver just needs to die man idc. also not to mention the fact that doha had no knowledge of his dominant omega trait and that lack of knowledge such as not knowing what heats were, how to find a partner, how to handle a heat, pheromones etc. led to him getting raped and sexually abused multiple times - OF COURSE IM NOT SAYING DOHA IS AT FAULT ABSOLUTELY NOT, but if his birth giver was there, doha would’ve known how a heat partner/partner in general is supposed to treat you and stuff. like i said, doha’s birth giver needs to die or smth, he can’t just come back into their lives over 32 years later after wrecking havoc and causing so much trauma and pain. the author should not give that bastard man a redemption arc, it would be such bullshit. instead we should get a story about soomin and eui-jin
