genuinely, 100 chapters of this was exhausting (not in a bad way) at every corner was another plot twist or something gone wrong, i was so anxious LIKE JUST GIVE THEM THEIR HAPPY ENDING ALREADY
my only critiques would be:
1. the rape HELLO??? was all of that necessary?? and it went completely ignored after and they all just accepted daewoo like nothing. wow, yet another author with a rape fetish as we don’t have enough of them already. so disgusting
2. the parents moving in with them in the same house. bro wheres the privacy. yes i understand their kid has been missing for 15 long years, but come on, him and his husband deserve some privacy too. ik it wasn’t the parent’s decision, it was woo-yeol’s but the author hello? you could’ve chosen another route

definitely needs side stories, and i hope we get a spin off of yoogang and the bodyguard guy. plus, yoogang’s eyes are also amber/yellow like jigang so that means him and the bodyguard got down and dirty (my point is it wasn’t just some contractual/partners of convenience arrangement)
i loved this story but i think the conflicts were resolved fairly quickly THIS ISNT ME SAYING I WANTED YEONWOO OR JIGANG TO SUFFER, but both with the stupid fucking abusive geezer and the spirits was solved with the power of love/power of friendship type but at the end of the day who am i to complain when we got a green flag couple who are absolute cuties and they got their happy ending. hope we get side stories i cant get enough of their story - also, i do want side stories about yeonwoo’s friend and that cafe guy, and yeonwoo’s cousin and his friend from the start

i don’t understand why he disappeared for 7 years. didnt he say he did that so he can sustain isaac and himself, and he didn’t give isaac a way to contact him bc it would make him lose resolve and he’d drop everything and run to isaac? but that’s exactly what he did after his father died. he told his older brother bye and disappeared for months. mind you, hes being sustained by his older brother too so genuinely what was the point of him disappearing on isaac for 7 years if theo cant support himself if his brother isn’t supporting him? it makes no sense
2. no, we aren’t critiquing the british bc we’re used to american you fool. i’m not american, but my country was colonised by britain so i use british-english, so naturally i would prefer the language and tone used in this story no? the problem everyone is having with this is the unnatural old british slang thrown in. it’s not consistent. i’m not sure what time period this was set in, but aside from the random old-timey british slang thrown in here and there, their way of speaking is modern hence why it feels off and why a lot of people are picking on the ‘british accents’.
overall i did like the story but it was far too short, and most times in these short stories, there are many plot holes and inconsistencies and that was no exception here. like i’d love to know more about the eldest brother and his wife, as well as the second brother. and obviously i’d kill for fifty more side stories about my babies theodore and isaac, and ofc a spin off about james

i’m ngl, i don’t like how theo’s arc ended. i don’t like how after him finding closure, he was just gonna leave like that. we didn’t see him talking about reaching out, or seeing haebeom in the future. haebeom had to do that. it can be argued that theo didn’t think he was forgiven so it wasn’t his place, but he sure accepted both ho’s and haebeom’s hospitality and kindness the whole time he was in nuldongmae so the least he could’ve done is talk about hoping to see haebeom again. it’s just upsetting to me that he was gonna leave haebeom like that
and the reason behind haebeom’s chibi URGH KILL ME. why did his mother have to die
this was genuinely such a shit story. we had kidnapping and confinement, rape and grooming, and whatever else. it could’ve had potential to be some amazing twisted, psychological thriller (the disgusting rape and grooming aside) but then everything went to shit in season 2. the ending was atrocious, raymon never got justice from all the bullshit dominic put him through, both raymon and winter have stockholm syndrome from each other lmfao. the side stories were even worse. like, you put us through all that bullshit in the main story and then decided to randomly throw in every single *impactful* character aside from our two main leads. mind you, majority of us thought raymon had no family bc of how the story was set up and we still don’t know anything about winter, not even his age. the side stories genuinely piss me off the most bc again we see that ugly dog dominic, and it emphasises how the main story was based on nonsense. at least they get married in the end??? idk
