The problem is that it's portraying several antisemitic canards, such as "Jews rule the world," "Rothschilds are new world order" (even though the family lost most of their money since the 1700s lmfao), "Jews have mind control," etc. It's fine to have Jews in the manga, the problem is how they're portrayed using several caricatures and canards that have harmed us for centuries.
The problem is that they're promoting racism, xenophobia, and antisemitism. You don't NEED that in the manga. "North Korea got destroyed KEKW" come on. We get you're from South Korea, but "uwu fuck North Korea" is really shitty praxis. The people there who are not in the government are innocent of Kim's crimes and brutality.
Points taken, great insights they are. I do enjoy how it all works in this manhwa though, because truthfully it's like reading a parallel universe due to opposite circumstances happening in the plot. Now if the story resembled the real world a bit more, but with the same racist/xenophobic undertones, I'd find it to be sort of an apologist or revisionist propaganda and have the same sentiments as you have now.
Artist makes characters look the same IMO - the doctor and Dojun are based on the two main characters in looks, just inverted in size and who fucks who. Not a huge fan of same face syndrome. Still reading, but definitely loses some points.
