my thoughts with SPOILERS.
mc was a bit dumb, wasnt he? daigo's death could be prevented if they were careful enough not to trust the YAKUZA'S FAMILY, considering that they were about to offer funeral money in behalf of the KILLER. they just didnt learn their lesson.. i thought it was funny when the mc said "let's not trust others" and proceed to get knocked out TWICE after eating the yakuza family's food! it's hilarious, they were oblivious! i mean, you gotta prepare for the worse if you were about to visit a yakuza family home. AND POOR DAIGO, i loved him. i felt so bad. the mc cross dressing and following daigo's steps, it was not unexpected. and poor boy, that kid kaiya going to be a very bad boy in the future. he's so pitiful though. i was thinking he could have a normal, hard life if daigo and mc didnt pick him up, but considering he's a yakuza's son, it's nowhere near possible. he will eventually get caught up with killing.
it's a light and quick read. i thought i would shed tears because i saw a bunch of comments that this made them cry. it's lowkey good though.
