All throughout I can see that Trovancha though a much smaller country is better in every sense. The empire is grandiose on the outside so very weak fundamentally.

Don't like the emperor that much. He's not a bad guy but definitely not a good one. I can understand since he's the king but still he's so crafty and annoying at times. I do miss Trovancha though that country was just so beautiful.
From what I've read of the spoilers, I can confidently say, he is a bad guy.
Everything horrible that happened in the 1st timeline, you can trace back to him (intentionally or unintentionally)
He definitely deserves the ending he got.
