I might offend people but I like the plot better here than the show that got animated haha but then again I'm not qualified to judge since I didn't watch it because it was really ridiculous. Well the good kind from the people but to me it just didn't really click with me well. It was funny but not my cup of tea kind of funny. But this, this is the comedy I quite like in terms of supernatural stuff.

Just love it that the MC and ML are both strong but the MC doesn't get tricked or forced into obeying the ML. The MC is so complex and realistic. As much as I enjoy the romance but a part of me wished that the romance wasn't the main point in a story but something that complemented it. Hope they do well with this.

Don't worry, so far it's not the center of this story. But it IS slow burn. I'm at chapter 175 of the novel and they still haven't made any progress. There were flirting tho (ML side). But the MC is not easy to get. So I think this is what's gonna tick off those people who likes to see smut or getting together asap as this is more plot heavy. The novel is dual POV so it's honestly nice because you can see the ML's mind and how he sees the MC. It's cute.
Just in case, I suggest you to try reading this in novelupdates. Iirc, this chapter is somewhere along chapter 38+? ;)

That'd be great! I don't hate it when the romance is fast and all just that it's a breath of fresh air that romance isn't the main point. I'd like romance to be the spice in a story not the main dish. In a story like this, especially because the setting's interesting. If it were some college drunken night/high school one-sided love/marriage contract thing then yeah I'm ok with romance as the main plot. I'll also check out the novel. Thanks!
Don't like the emperor that much. He's not a bad guy but definitely not a good one. I can understand since he's the king but still he's so crafty and annoying at times. I do miss Trovancha though that country was just so beautiful.
From what I've read of the spoilers, I can confidently say, he is a bad guy.
Everything horrible that happened in the 1st timeline, you can trace back to him (intentionally or unintentionally)
He definitely deserves the ending he got.
Minor spoilers:
(Just to clarify, he is not the villain of the story, but I'd argue that he caused way more pain and suffering than the actual villain did.)
