I literally just binged all 100 some chapters of the novel and its almost five am but I wanted to throw some spoilers at the people who wanted them. Do not read further if you aren't okay spoilers!!
Backstories: ML was the son late emperor and a concubine, but the late empress "adopted him" and abused him. She eventually had him kill his real mother (he was like 10) in order to stop. beating, before she revealed that he'd killed his real mother. This results in severe PTSD that's triggered every so often by certain objects.
Rosemary was raped by her half brother, and her mother concealed it out of embarssment.
The ML connected with rose because they both shared past trauma, and mistook mutual sympathy for love. Later on he feels unable to abandon rose because of this connection.
Plot: hadache time wheeee im gonna try and keep this simple. ML wakes from coma, he believes FL when she claims that rose is the person behind the asssination attempt, but he asks FL to spare Rose's life. Trial commenses, but as both the FL's side and roses side faked evidence, they decided not to continue and just removed roses title as baroness.
All throughout this, Rose and FL are trading blows. Rose blackmails one of the dukes into adopting her (as that duke used to be a really low ranked noble who raped the duchess and made her believe she slept with him out of love) to gain some social standing. ML's affection for rose runs out real quick, and there are several more encounters between him and the queen.
ML has several episodes where he seems to be going mad with grief caused by his trauma. FL accidentally sees it, and ML is shocked later when she shows sympathy for him. Later on, he tells her about his past and she can't contain herself and grieves for him, as she can't contain her compassion. He's stunned by this because Rose didn't mourn for him at all. Now its shown that he sorta favors FL more. At random party rose basically tells ML that shes always been using him and that shes never loved him and he's like "ouch okay".
At some point rose reveals that FL is infertile. FL is like ???? But ML confirms it and FL gets hurt and angry and develops a deep hatred for ML. She tells him she regrets feeling sympathy towards him and that ML is ruining her life just like his mother did to him. Rose gets promoted to official royal concubine.
She kinda goes slightly batshit crazy here, feels like shes given up, starts sending rose presents. ML is consumed by guilt and self hate.
Rose decides to seduce Ml and puts an aphrodisiac in his wine. He runs away and runs into FL. She first tries to call rose or a random servant to deal with him but he refuses so FL locks herself in a room with Ml and they have sex (its as chaotic as it sounds)
Rose gets more desperate. FL's side gathers more shit on rose that they can accuse her of, her sister finds a random love interest, ML develops more feelings, crazy stuff. Rose is found to be communicating with the mistress of the rapist duke. She gets kinda angry and tries to force ML into a trauma induced seizure at a public event with sage. ML was beaten a lot as a kid in a sage flower garden, rose is trying to trigger that.
ML's sister switches out the flowers and reveals that she also went back in time and that her wish was to never associate with ML again.
Rose tries to get FL assasinated, it fails, they bring her to court after ruining all her connections. ML is over her, shes sentenced to death and goes insane before her execution.
Afterwards FL wants to quit being queen, her feeling are conflicting but still mainly negative towards him. He get desperate, begs her to stay, says its okay for you to hate me but I love you. Sister convinces FL to stay, saying how they're in a different timline, and ig he wins her heart over baked goods or smth (did not read the last 10 chapters im too dead for that, sorry.)
Personal thoughts:
Its really slow burn, some unresolved conflicts, lowkey chaotic 90% of the time.
I did like how refreshingit was though. ML broke from the mold of perfect love interest. His fears and doubts are raw and a lot more realistic than in your average shoujo isekai. It isn't as satisfying but i feel like it's more honest, which I appreciate. FL is very strong, independent, able, and she's aware of her priorities. She fights for herelf, doesnt get won over by ML easily for literally 99% of the whole thing, but still has moments of humanity where her fears, compasion, and sympathy shines through. Supporting characters are a bit dull, I like the sisters' relationship. Plot it messy, but I loved how it talked about seperating your current lifefrom the past
You see too many discussions of fans saying they hate a certain character because they were an antagonist in the previous life, but that's like saying murderers and rapists are born evil from the moment they're born. I like how this allows and accepts second chances. Also its fucking hilarious that he won her over with food l m a f o like sameeeee girl. Overall I'd recommend you stick with it, try and be more open minded and I think you'll enjoy it. I enjoyed the chaotic atmosphere of the novel. I liked how the story flows and I gotta say ML feels more human here. I did enjoy him suffer from his wrong decision (like how the queen avoids him, not from his PTSD). And how he made an effort for the queen to forgive him.
Rizi is a strong queen. I can never do those decisions and stay strong under a lotta pressure xD

Okay nooo i am so done with this story. the chaos and frustration i have reading this spoiler alone is too much. Honestly, the chaos might as well just be called a mess. And i still can't get behind them ending up together. Even though he has a good reason to be the way that he is, doesn't make their relationship anyless messy and frustrating. He's still so damn unlikeable.
Am I the only one who wants the original two together? (Im bad at names lmao) The photographer gives me weird vibes. It feels like he's overly selfish sometimes, and that his reasons for liking the MC are forced coincidences. The way he asked MC not to help the actor guy;;;; ugh
The actor is focusing on change. He's acknowledging his mistakes and facing the the consequences not because he needs to, but because he understands that they're the products of his mistakes. The photographer just seems to want to monopolize the MC, keep him away from the brother, not because he's worried about MC, but because hes scared he'll lose him. He doesn't want to help the MC through his issues, he just selfishly wants someone to cater to his emotional needs at his beck and call.
It feels like the actor and the MC can exist independant of each other, which makes them even stronger together, so they can support each other but won't be completely unable to function without the other.
The mc with the photographer on the other hand, just feels like trying to crush two puzzle pieces together that dont fit together. MC can live fine without the photographer, but the photographer seems so dependant on the MC. He's dragging the mc down, putting the brief relief of his fears over the mcs mental state.

It’s quite weird how some people think Taku really loves Haesoo when he only got into this situation because he wanted to covet JH’s love. He saw that they had something he never experienced before and wanted in on it. He is experiencing something new with Haesoo but it’s not genuine love.
I think all three characters are finally being forced to just be honest with themselves about who they are and what they want out of love. After this experience, hopefully Taku will treat love less like a game and get to know someone genuinely for who they are and not based on how much they intrigue him.
It seems that Haesoo and Joowon will get back together because they never stopped loving each other. They just had to learn how to love each other in the right way.
Taku did tryna fuck around at first but he did loves Haesoo now, hence he do be heartbroken and accepting that haesoo's love is not for him. He pushing the relationship a bit but he still care about what haesoo might feel about it, he just taking chances. And don't say shit like Taku is the villain here when Haesoo and Joowon has plenty of chances to be together back in s1 but decided to stay in immature, toxic relationship and only became more accountable and mature after leaving each other? At first I thought it is about they both moving on each other, hence the relationship is unhealthy asf to be a ship. But after all these bullshits I suppose they didn't deserve Taku. The relationship only develop after Taku meddle in anyway. By the time Haesoo and Joowon settle shit down, I suppose Taku will not do anything to bother them and simply just find his own way to move on. I never called him a villain. I said the exact same thing you said, what Taku and Haesoon have isn’t genuine love. I’m sure Taku likes him and cares for him as a human but he doesn’t really even know Haesoo and that’s partially Haesoo’s fault.
Taku was the catalyst to force Haesoo and Joowon to stop playing games with one another. Haesoo and Joowon were the catalyst for Taku to stop treatIng love/his partners as voyeuristic experiments. They all need to be more honest about love. They each learned that from one one another. Taku isn’t some innocent victim, he knew what he was doing from the start.

1) The movie Split is in no way an accurate example of DID. It's dramatized and changed to fit Hollywood. PleaseI don't make assumptions of DID based on Split.
2) DisasociaDID on YouTube is an incredible source for information and education on DID. They are currently on a possibly permanent hiatus, but you should still check them out.
3) The host doesn't "own" the body. In most cases, there is no sole original person, since they split into alters. The host is the alter that fronts most often, which means they control the body most frequently. This doesn't give them the sole right to exist.
4) The other alters didnt disappear, they integrated, meaning then joined back with a different alter. In some (I'm hesitant to say most) cases, a part of the integrated alter(s)' personality and memory will remain with the alter they integrated into. They didn't disappear, per se. I think it's good, actually. Alter's aren't created by positive influences. They're created as an automtic defence mechanism because the brain doesnt think the mind can cope by itself. The fact that, three alters integrated into another alter means that the traumatic causes of those three alters is no longer a serious threat to the brain. It shows that they're slowly coping/healing ^^
5) Please stop saying things like "I hope so and so is the one who doesn't disappear". It's insensitive. Alters are DIFFERENT PEOPLE. Saying you want one to stay the while the rest can go disappear severely disregards those alter's entire right to being human. It's okay to have an alter that you like the best, but please, don't pick favorites in terms of who should or shouldn't stay. It's like saying "you don't deserve to be seentrue as a person, you don't deservr to exist, because anothr alter is just that much better than you." Sounds awfully messed up, right?
6) This manga doesn't do an amazing job at describing System responsibility. The System is made up of all the alters. Their goal is to keep the body safe. They all have a responsibility to the body. If one alter messes up, it's everyone's mistake. There's too much to eplain in regards to this, so please research it yourself before making unsupported assumptions.
7) Keep in mind that this is a manga representation of DID. It's not completely accurate and some literal elements of DID have been changed to fit the visual requirements and restrictions of a manga. The creator is doing a fabulous job at it, just don't take this manga as the absolute and sole truth of DID.
8) Switches are when a different alter fronts. This is caused by a trigger, which can be positive or negative. A positive trigger can be a certain alter's favorite song, a special object, or something like that. A negative trigger can be something like an event that reminds of a past trauma, fear, or a new trauma. It's important to know that positive triggers aren't necessarily a good thing. Purposely triggering a switch is frowned upon by almost all the members of the DID community. It's rude to the current alter, for one, as it gives the impression that you'd rather talk to a different alter, but it's also physically taxing. Switching isn't a pleasant experience. It often brings migranes and other discomforts, and the alter that fronts won't be aware of any of their surroundings at first. Imagine waking up in a completely different place you dont remember moving to with person who forced you to front. Sounds horrible. Add past trauma and a migrane to that mix and it becomes even worse.
