the dialogue is hilarious i love their chemistry LMFAO.. oh and the scenes are so hot and the art is scrumptious i loved every minute of this

loved the story it was a little fast paced, but that’s expected for a short story. the characters are so cute and i loved how realistic the emotions are

wow.. literal chills oh my goodness. this is one of the best stories I have ever read.. the pacing, the story telling, and the bond between characters was absolutely mind blowing. every time I thought I knew what was going to happen, I was pleasantly met with surprise. the suspense is incredible (I was too scared to go to the washroom bc I thought a hand would start crawling up my leg in the darkness….) and not to mention the complexity of both mc and ml. they’re locked in fr! it doesn’t take a lot to be happy, but why not take more anyways? that’s kind of what I got from the ending. your happiness is in your control, and it is up to you to find and keep it. what I personally loved the most is how taejun reverts to his old self, but in a good way. he takes back his power by distancing himself from bad people, relearns how to stand his ground, and acts accordingly without feelings of guilt or remorse. because.. why should he feel bad for people who aren’t good? another thing to note, he gets over his greatest fear and embraces the darkness (maybe a little bit too much but ykw he served). additionally, I loved the comparison that ml makes between lust, excitement, anxiety, and fear. such as when he questions why taejun refuses to open the door or when he is paralyzed with fear from the dark. ultimately, this manhwa really makes you think about the state of the world and who really deserves happiness. there’s sm more I want to say but I read this is one sitting and its 4:30am so ill stop here. however I will definitely be thinking about this manhwa for the next few months.. absolutely incredible story
ANOTHER note: honestly some of their actions are pretty gruesome and extreme, but it’s debatable whether they’re even fully human or not. human nature in and of itself is so complex and it really can’t be explained in black and white. although malice is a human emotion we tend to separate that from ourselves in order to feel better and rationalize our behaviour. but also are they really human if they can literally explode people with their minds? haha what I’m trying to say is, mc and ml are weird and arguably cruel. but I believe it’s supposed to be that way.
But Ash makes it work?? like it’s a perfect mix of possessiveness, sexiness, comfort and love. Now I’m starting to realize that maybe Ash is the only man doing it right LMAOOO this is sooo hot and the illustration is too good! Loving the expressions ^^
the trauma xie lian has of being idolized by the kingdom of xianle only for the people to be disappointed in him failing to appease the masses bleeds into his anxiety of hua cheng treating him the same way once he realizes xie lian isn’t perfect. little does he know hua cheng has seen him for all he is and only has admiration and love for him hua cheng’s quote “ But to some, the very existence of a certain person in this world is in itself hope.” references a long time ago when xie lian told hong’er “if you don’t know the meaning to your life, then make me that meaning, and use me as the reason to live” and i think thats so sweet
