Well, Ian loves the emperor, but he knows that it's impossible for him to be together with him. So he just wanted to spent time with the prince until he becomes the emperor. I think the emperor didn't expect Ian to leave after the coronation. The emperor already claimed that Ian is his. Thou he has a wife, he still expect Ian to be with him since Ian belongs to him. Ian left. Then the emperor asked Robin to help him. Since Robin is loyal to the emperor, he will do anything. Ian stays hidden so that the emperor could not find him, and the emperor know if something happen to Robin, Ian will come back to save Robin. So the emperor orchestrate where Robin rebels and will be punished. As expected, Ian came back and met the emperor, spicy stuff happened. When Ian tried to save Robin and arrived at Robin's prison cell, instead of Robin, the emperor is there. Then another spicy stuff.
This is so far what I got from the raw (ch.6).
This is my theory.
I think this is the typical story where the seme thinks he owns the world and can get whatever he wants, then he saw uke as smthing that he owned. He couldn't accept the fact that uke ran away. Seme will not know that uke actually fall for him, and he 'might' be jealous on something weird since the seme think that uke loves someone else. There will be a big annoying misunderstanding. Then later on, as the chapter goes, seme will realize that he actually loves the uke and doesn't want to let him go (there must be a part where the uke leaves the seme and the seme is devastated). On the other side, the uke will be stopped by seme from leaving, but he will try to leave again and again since he thinks that it's impossible for the seme to love him nor they can be together since seme is the emperor.
I think this is what will happen... I might be wrong, but so far from the raw goes to this direction... (〜￣△￣)〜
