Even tho Ines's mother is not a kind person, I kinda like the dynamic between them. Rather than a normal mother-daughter relationship, they're like sisters with age gap. The older sister tries to control, but the youngest despise her big sis antics.
Looks like Carcel and Ines exchanging their most trusted subordinate as Carcel has Raul and Ines has Alfonso for assistant. This is like letting each other to have spy. Like a declaration that nothing to hide between them.
That is how you reprimand those who have little brain.

I don't really fond of the idea that Lucy will ended up with Sauveur or Robert. While I wish for her peace and happiness, if she'll be paired by one of the two, that feels like forced. She's a character that present to replace Yvonne place for a moment, become a figure that close to Bianca. So if she also become a wife of the Duke's right hand man, that will be too much cliche. I wish for her to be free from entanglement and trauma, I hope the author can focus on that instead of making romance as the needed route for her to find happiness.
