In the latest chapter it essentially summarizes the Mc’s webtoon that he’s been playing out with the ML up until now so you can see the correlation between their relationship and the characters.
In the Mc’s webtoon it’s about a guy called “Choi Hwang young” who wakes up everyday with a man who loves him deeply called “Dohyuk” and that’s the way it has been until he meets his friend and finds out everything he’s lived was fake and believed that Dohyuk made everything up to be with him only to find out the story he was living was actually made up by him as an experiment by himself in which they act as the characters but eventually deluded himself into thinking it was real.

In the manhwa and what’s been happening up until now is the Mc being kidnapped by ml to live as the Mc in his webtoon but the way the ML portrays the characters and the environments, makes him really believe his love is real just like Dohyuk in the story. But in the mc’s story, Dohyuk’s feelings eventually became real so now Mc and ml at the stage of crossing from fiction into reality just like in the story they’ve been acting, up until now.

The masked man of the past is Kiyoung and the masked woman is jihye, they pretty much together and along with a group whose leader is the murderer that we saw towards the first chapter (i forgot the name) cause the first timelines destruction. The reason for ky was loss of deokgu and he pretty much just kills everyone by manipulation. Also even in the 1st timeline, hayan falls for him and takes her life for his sake i believe.

Yes, hyunsung will find out about ky being the masked man but it's towards the end of the main novel so still a bit of arc left and he doesn't take it lightly haha, he is pretty angry about it and kinda kills ky, but he's the main character so yk he can't die yet

After this current proposal, hayan calms down a bit and isn't as much crazy afterwards in the story, though she does get stronger. There's no marriage in the main novel so it's pretty much just the ring exchange.

There'll be some interesting character this arc that will be reoccurring character later too, they're pretty cool.

Let me give you some more spoilers, about one of my favorites part of the novel
Ok so Hayan kind Invoke a demons and Ky get kidnapped and tortured(nothing really happen with him,he is just faking). A video of the torture is send to the guild, everyone is distraught wadawada,they united to save Ky andd tchram Ky gets corrupted (again,just acting) and become Doom Kiyoung,Ky puts a mask on his face because he know that it will make the regressor fell bad. The regressor gets on a really bad headspace really really bad

So,Ky invade the regressor mind and pretend to be a good part of him, saying that he still there and to the regressor not give up
Is reaaally good,I would 100% recommend read the novel. Idk how much they will change. Like han sora arc changed,on the novel basically
Han Sora mocks Ky because he was just a "alchemist",blabla,the Sword defends him Sora get scared af. Ky tells Hayan that Sora "have a cute face" só Hayan will treat Sora bad. They discover that Ky and hy are a couple,and gets worried about her futures opportunities,and decide to make a plan to blackmail KY,the ninja guy says "that's really dumb,yk?" She goes with the plan anyway. Her plans was basically
Gets Ky to agree to let her join the blue guild,he rejects,she tore her clothes off,hy walks on them,she acuse KY of doing inappropriate things with her,but Hayan is not right in the head,then she attacks Sora

My guess about the masked man and woman is 100% right. So, dies hyunsung and kiyoung still a good buddy after that (Hyunsung tried to kill kiyoung)?

By the end of the main novel, Hyunsung is totally obsessed with ky. Even after ky 'dies', hyunsung still is obsessed with him, sometimes even talking about killing everyone else but ky. So dw they're on good terms.

Yea haha, this happens towards the final part of the main story and is a pretty interesting, so it's better if you aren't spoiled rn and just go along with the pace of manhwa, there are still pretty cool stuff that are gonna occur.
