Kinda both... haha. Nothing is fully revealed yet, I guess. However, I get the vibe that Sungho had hated Dohyun for making him so conflicted about himself and his values. Sungho felt used and even though he did want the relationship with Dohyun and adores him to death, he felt manipulated althroughout and hated himself in the end for making Dohyun do as he pleases just to keep the relationship alive. Sungho has the ultimate love-hate sentiment towards Dohyun. The atrocities that he is doing right now is the result of the madness the past has inflicted upon him. That's why you can see him manage to hopelessly adore and then terribly hurt Dohyun at the same time.
