Andrew...my guy is honestly packing. Waiting for season two was like having my balls relentlessly teased while getting repeatedly sucked off, yet never being able to climax. Busted a nut with no shame (I'm a girl)
Relax, get yourself something nice to eat, snuggle up in bed and cuddle up your pillow imagining it's Andrew in excitement as we wait for official season 2 translations
I remember reading this and throwing a 1 star rating because the ending hurt my heart, but lemme be more rational:
Art style: Pretty good, not to the level where I can say chef's kiss. A little bonus bc I liked the dead, soulless eyes ML has (had an eerie feel to it). 3.5/5
Pacing: I can't lie, this story felt like a segment from the real plot. The story offered at least some sort of backstory, and didn't feel as rushed. 3/5
Plot: If I remember well the plot was finding his long lost brother, which he wasn't supposed to. Bro didn't even know the restaurant owner was his brother. I mean plot was meh, ML was just a crazy fuck and MC happened to be quite unfortunate. 2/5
smut: maybe I just don't get off with seeing mc get burnt, but I couldn't even overlook past the rape to judge the sex scenes in itself. 2/5
ending: subjective ofc, ending was quite vague but I can only hope MC cuts ties with the organization. Unfortunately that'll never be the case. 2/5
overall : 2.5, contemplating if I should round it down to a 2. I don't despise the story, it's honestly just sad
I just wanna give my thoughts and some explanation since I'm reading the novel. After the raws in the manhwa, ML makes a bet with MC saying that if MC is obedient for the semester (technically 3 months) he'd delete the blackmail photos. So MC, defiant expectantly, disobeys and the month passes quietly. Consequently, he ends up getting gang raped (in his own apartment too), and yuh ML obviously is the one who orchestrated the assault. ML ofc keeps up their "innocent" facade when he visits MC the day after and takes care of him (gave him backshots same day too). I can't lie but MC is tuff as hell like even after getting violated like that, even after the incident it only fuels bro to want to beat the shit out of his assaulters, and I fw that. So days pass and ML frequently visits, eventually convincing MC to move in with him in exchange he'd delete the photos. So ML did tell MC in advance that he sent the photos to the gang, but didn't mention how he also sent it to VP (aka that twink looking guy that hanged out with him in the start of the manhwa). So even though VP sort of envied MC broskie was still concerned, so he reached out to ML (reminders how this mf doesn't like VP so the conversation ends quick). VP hadn't contacted MC in a while that had him ask ML if the photo was also sent to him, which he lies surprisingly. So when that happens MC is moved to the new crib and as he insists for those photos to be immediately deleted (more were taken when he was raped), but ML teases him about them which understandably upsets MC. So MC pops off, which honestly I get it, because I know this is a revenge novel so he did something bad to ML in the past, but this guy has no fucking clue of what he did nor is he being reminded, so from his standpoint he's getting tortured like this for no reason. On top of ML joking about his assault just because he didn't perceive MC to get mad easily, he had a valid crashout. So ML gets pissed off by MC's emotional outburst, and ends up raping him (depicting how the assaulter's did him). I get where ML is coming from. I haven't read the part yet but back in highschool ML got SA'd by MC and his friends. In real logic, having your assaulter clueless of his actions onto you while also painting you as "insane" would drive anyone mad. It shows how MC was able to continue his life with ease, not thinking twice about the trauma inflicted on the ML. He also stated how he goes to the hospital every Saturday, which hints to possibly the impact of the past. After MC got ML locked him up in one of the bedrooms and kept him there, along with also having aggressive sex with him all day every day. He treats MC like a literal dog (made him piss and shit on the floor), and overtime MC lost weight so I think he has a twinkish build now. Which honestly I rebuke in the manhwa like buddy needs to start pumping his shit, lift weights or do some push ups. His hair also grew. His character also drastically shifted, from snarky and choleric like he used to be, he's more submissive, overthinks and more dependant over ML. I've been yapping a lot, so I should sum it up. I'm not going to measure between who's had it worse between MC and ML, but if I were to do so MC is dealing a shit ton. I don't even know how bro is still alive after being degraded off his dignity and pride, while also being isolated to the point of craving human interaction, even now from his abuser. He put a strong fight, but wavered eventually to what his abuser best saw fit. I still acknowledge his past deeds, however, so on the far spectrum I get ML. He is the perfect example of right thoughts but wrong executions. Yet I get how sexual assault cases between same sex are often disregarded, so ML's actions almost seem like a last resolution. Sinister? why yes I agree, but I get the punishment. I guess this is where the name of the manhwa, "Reverse thinking" is coming from, rather than a simple approach and communication, ML instead uses the reverse method of torture and revenge. I don't really see their relationship developing into anything romantic, but more like some mutual dependancy for each other.
We know the drill guys. Karlyle is going to drink past his limit to try not overthink about Ash's past with Hazel, and then
I'll give an honest rating to this ASS CHEEKS of a manhwa:
Art style: Chef's kiss, the art is what hooked me onto this manhwa before I realized how sick it was. But some point the art downgraded. 4/5
Pacing: like so-so, I'm not to say that everything was rushed, but one crazy thing always led to another. 2/5
Plot: Dog water. This never had any potential from the start. Was the story shocking and traumatizing? Yes, but I can't even say that there was a storyline to follow with. 1/5
Smut: I only liked the first smut scene before we knew Hyunjae was an op. The entirety of this manhwa is just sum rape fetish and gangbangs. Nothing more nothing less. Even when you put the rape aside, all of those scenes where not appetizing. But in consideration to the first smut, 2.5/5.
Overall: 1.9 I'd want to round it down to a 1 but oh well. I can't even emphasize how buns this story was, if it wasn't for the artstyle I think I would of dropped this (the devil can be so beautiful smh)
I came back to this manhwa because I realized I never rated it when I finished reading it sometime last year. This manhwa still gives me a heavy heart.
The people who hate on the manhwa but return every chap are just as questionable as the people who enjoy these type of stuff. Like I just wanna get traumatized gang i know what im going to get into
That shlong literally TRIPLED in size the last time I saw it. That dick has to be a national warning I swear
I don't know what I did to deserve being born on this timeline, but at least Nerd Project and this are arriving with season 2 like on the same day
Screaming (without the S) because of these arts
Normie or whatever his name is was so problematic that I skipped his whole lore
Feels like jus yesterday I cried because the main story ended this was a work of art
This story is like unwiped ass served to you on a dustbin lid like a platter in the backstreet alleyway of NY. Okay, let me give my honest rating...
Art style: Chef's kiss in my opinion. The design of the characters is pretty generic in comparison to the author's other stories. 4/5
Pacing: I mean pretty rushed, of course expected from a short story. I mean at least they gave us tiny explanations of the past. 3/5
Plot: Had so much potential, I would of liked the thug x prosecutor dynamic...besides that the plot was rushed. 2.5/5
Smut: My oh my but the was a bit of a turning point so 3/5
Ending: I mean the story ended on ambiguous terms but the ending was kinda buns so 1/5
Overall 2.7 rating, I feel like I've read plot like this before
