Lol, between season 1 and season 2, there’s a big jump of differences.
Season one arts and story telling plus depiction of characters were a bit more different from the novels description.
While on season two, they made the characters description to follow the OG novels, but the story telling doesn’t do the novels justice nor it is better than the season one.
Honestly, they should just take on season 1 flows and characters to season 2 instead, then this would have become a big hit.
If the manhwa author/artist cannot make the manhwa to follow the novel as good as how ORV did theirs, then they really should just do it how the season 1 goes even if that means a changes on the story.

It’s fan service… author wants to cater to the male gaze. ‘Dumb girl in distress who romantically likes mc but is useless and doesn’t contribute to the story in any way’. It’s really annoying.
