On one hand, it has some great moments about visible and invisible disability. On the other hand, the premise/main point of the plot is so terrible and so not developed well. Itʻs like the manga is written by a person, who studied on disability, but do not have lived experiences. That plot, the hurt, grief, the differences between their lives could have been presented in such a riveting way... but then it went so incomprehensibly bad and the way they broke up and made up - no depth, no nuances, no complexity, no.... nothing. very shallow, very surface. so it feels more like a Public Service Announcement. so itʻs hard to believe why they even made up.
the moral of the story - be a good person, but not a peopleʻs pleaser. have boundaries. know when to say no! walk away when you see the very first red flag and RUN away fast when itʻs a carnival of red flags! and get some spine, even if you have to buy or borrow it before you grown one!
