Ok I've been stalling for a while before reading this manga because of the comments, tbh I read the comments first regardless of the rating before reading the actual story. Now that I have finished reading it, I have a few things to say:
First, I understand the comments here having their own opinions so I just want to express my opinion too
Second, I wanted to talk abt Shizume. Most of the comments I saw were people saying that they didn't like his lack of words for Kiumi, which I understand. But I would like to point out that even though he wasn't very good with communicating nor does he have a way with words, he still shows his love for Kiumi through his actions. No, I do not mean sex. He shows this by doing simple things or little things for Kiumi, like rejecting Kiumi's hand at the spring bath but immediately holding it when they get to their room, or holding his hand in the open but keeping it hidden in his pockets. What I mean is that I think Shizume is still going through a character development and he's taking his time with it. Specially since it was also mentioned that he PLANNED to tell his parents about his sexuality but he was just not READY yet. This tells us that he didn't plan to keep everything a secret forever, rather he was just still trying to get used to things before coming out. At least that's my interpretation.
Third, I remember reading this from a comment but I just want to simplify what they meant. This type of relationship is not for everyone, and they were right. This was also shown in the story when Koh went to Shizume's apartment. Keeping a relationship a secret is such a big responsibility for both parties and it can be pretty exhausting to some, but what if they're fine with keeping it a secret? Not everyone has to announce that they're in a relationship, others tend to keep it lowkey. I'm just saying that if both parties are fine with the relationship, then why try to change it? We can just let them be and continue with our lives, it's not our business to begin with.
Fourth, I want to say that this story holds a special place in my heart along with the other fluff that I've read. I'm not a professional to say that "there can be room for improvements" but in my own perspective, this was delivered in the best way possible. I love the art style, the story, and the characters. I just want to say that these are still my opinions so if it offended you in some way please don't take it to heart. That's all, thanks for reading this allat ヾ(☆▽☆)
aint reading allat but I agree
I read allat and I too agree, I even agree on the first point that not everyone been touching on with the Seme loving the Uke with his action and doing little things for him. Majority people don’t agree with the Seme but as you stated if “both parties are fine with it, why change it”
