That's what happens in the novel. It's weird, like he hates them but is fascinated and likes them... but yeah he defo killed his mum. It's a whole thing for mc coming to terms with loving the person who killed her.

tbh i thought dan was still being very gracious to jaekyung despite him being demonic and im predicting grandma will pass, this is where jaekyung will have to come in and support him emotionally and physically since he will have no one now. jaekyung will have to be vulnerable as well i hope they don’t show his backstory like they did for bj alex because i’m so tired of that concept
