so that means if kai fails to enter the imperial family she'll support someone instead, to protect her daughter? so she's kinda 50/50?

i hate characters like these since if you have a lil disadvantage the person could betray you any second to protect the person they want to protect but i dont think that the story will be that complex unless it is a complex story

She doesn't want her daughter to be an imperial princess cuz she knew it would make her life miserable and the 2nd prince is a bastard, the emperor is suggesting/forcing a marriage for her daughter to marry the 2nd prince which is why she wants to join hands with the female lead because she wa able to decipher or understand the reason behind the actions of the female lead like manipulating her cousin into thinking she can become an imperial princess with her help, she will be able to spread gossips which will be known by the emperor and maybe betrothed the 2nd prince which is the bastard and her bich of a cousin.

I have a strong feeling that Harpan’s will to protect her daughter will be one of the strongest cards FL will have up her sleeve. She won’t switch sides because her daughter’s after the FL and she’ll bite it til the end I’m sireლ(´ڡ`ლ)

umm the 2nd prince is the fiance of the MC the bastard is the fifth prince or forth i forgot but im pretty sure the 2nd prince is the MC'S fiance
