So far, there are about three major conflicts yet to be resolved: the marquisate against the church, the nurnberg family, and Shuri’s trauma from her past relationship. My take is that in order to bring a satisfying conclusion, this trial will end in the downfall of the church as it is the most appropriate end for the injustices the church did pre and post regression. I don’t know how though (i haven’t read the novel( ̄∇ ̄"), probably if the trial still proceeds, the pope’ s misdeeds will be exposed one way or another, but there could even be a holy war between the nobles and the church. Anyway, i’m excited to see how things fold out (≧∀≦)
