It made me a little sad. Mentioning that Nanao is Aoi's first love, includes that there might be a second love. Especially, since Nanao doesn't cherish his own life very much, makes it all the more plausible.
So much more like real life, than 95% of the manga on this site. We've all been there, going with the flow in a relationship without too much thinking.
I love Ogawa sensei's work. I cried over the sweetness of the first story and shuddered during the third story. Perfect when it's sweet and when it's twisted! Call me messed up, but it seems thrilling to me to have Ataru Koganei as a boyfriend.
Why is everybody labeling Tooru-san the bad guy? He was living his life as he is used to, being a sadistic top. Out of the blue, he meets a guy from his past, that probably reminds him of bad memories about his upbringing as a child. On top of that Daichi has his own misconceptions about Tooru-san, which he takes as the truth and acts upon them. Tooru probably wasn't looking for a loving relationship. That is why, if Daichi wants Tooru, he'll have to first get rid of his misconceptions(which Tooru has taken care of), and then make him fall in love(which Tooru states at the end).
PS: I don' t support nonconsensual seks, but I do understend Tooru's reasening.
